    Default Question - 901 attys

I recently got some new 901 atomizers and noticed that the vapor production was low, so I tried a couple of the other new atomizers - same thing. The design is different than my other 901 atomizers and the atomizer does not feel like it is getting hot enough to produce the correct amount of vapor that I am used to. Tried new batteries and pass-thru with same decreased performance.

Has anyone else had this experience or did I get a batch (5) of not so good equipment? or is this a change made from the factory?

The reason I ask is that I need to order batteries and if the voltage of a standard battery is not sufficient, then I may try to order a different type of battery with a higher output.

    Input is appreciated - thx!

Just keep using it. Atomisers need 'Breaking in' before they can produce optimum amounts of vapour.

My 901 attys from EM are DSE901 from SLB (SLB letters on the battery end) and had the high wicking bridge. Other 901 attys are RN4075 as the one from TW had the lower wicking bridge. RN4075 runs hotter than the DSE901.

did the vapor production on those atts ever get better..? having the same prob with the 901s & 801s (3 of each) that I got today. piddly vapor off of my standard batts, mods, and 5V pass-through. i'm also a little annoyed that none of them are true DSEs (i.e., not one of them has the SLB markings). would've ordered elsewhere if I'd known I was going to be sent RN models. I know many prefer them to the SLB make, but this is my first time using one of the RNs and I am certainly not impressed.

if you're going to sell RNs, EM, then list them as such. don't know about anyone else, but I like to get what I pay for--and I paid for DSEs.

ok, lets slow down a bit here------

East Mall does NOT sell RN attys

there are more than one factory that produces a genuine DSE atty

not all of the genuine DSE attys are branded

East Mall sells Genuine DSE 901 attys

Our 801 attys are specially modified for East Mall, and we consider them to be better than most others - thats why we take the time and effort to have them specially modified for us-

you did get genuine DSE 901 attys

if you are not happy with our modified 801 attys please return them and we will happily refund you.

thanks for the response, Di, i'll take your word on it.. for whatever reason, then, they just didn't perform as i've grown accustomed to. no worries about the refund though, gave mine to the person i was splitting the order with (she was more than happy to take those pink 801s off my hands ;b).

    hiya nyx,

    thanks for that,

and I am with your friend on this, --
after I read here you said the PINK ones, --
I remembered I just got some of the Pink 801 a couple of weeks ago
so I got them out, and tried them-- I gotta tell ya,
mine vape like a steam train

so all I can say is -- are your battys fully charged up,
cos these ones I got are vaping up a storm .

haha, well i'm glad they work for you

and yeah, my batts are fine.. as i said in my first post, i tried them on every power source i have--my standard batts (auto and manual), my mods (10440s & 14500s), *and* my 5V pass-through--over the course of a day, and they just never really got going. i'm a seriously heavy vaper too (former 2-pack a day smoker), so i usually cross through that "break-in" period in half a day or so. believe me, i'm not one to gripe unless i've tried everything i can think of and then some. ;b like i alluded to earlier though, i may just be growing too used to the lung hit and throat burn of the 510s i got recently (you'll notice i didn't complain about the 510s i got from East Mall btw, hehe, *those* i'm more than satisfied with), and that may be skewing my expectations a bit.

anyhow, sorry if i came off too accusatory in that first post, was just annoyed and apparently not quite informed enough.. i had no idea that 901s came any other way than with the SLB markings (because it's what i've read and heard in reviews and every other 901/801 atty i've purchased has had them on it), and immediately assumed then that i'd gotten a different make. again, though, i'm taking your word on it.. East Mall's reputation in the forums is stellar to say the least, so why wouldn't i, you know?

    all the best ;D
