Indulgence - First Look

Thought I would post an update in this old thread so people could see my earlier problems were fixed.

Firstly a big thanks to David and Di for sorting all my problems out, cheers!

Now on to the new parts I received today:

Charger
The new charger is a slightly different model to the first one and works which is a vast improvement as the first one didn't.

Battery Cup
Fit and finish is superb on this one, no peeling or bubbles and the engraving is not sharp.

Switch piece
This new one has a springy centre connector which means all the end caps fit properly and the threads are not rough.

End Caps
While these are a definite improvement over the others I received and are now usable the atomisers still stick out at a slight angle and the chrome finish is bubbled and peeling. I realise that this is just cosmetics but it is a shame that it spoils an otherwise excellent PV.

I can see that Indulgence has come a long way since the first one I received and is probably still evolving. At the moment it is probably the best value PV money can buy, with a little bit more work on the end caps it could be one of the best PVs available.

it has undergone several changes and upgrades
in it's short but frantic life.

With your help, Indulgence is,-
I feel on the brink of being the best - performance and dollar value PV available.

ok so i got my indulgence today and all the batts are charged nothing i do will get this thing to fire nothing tryd all the atty the 510 801 901 401 still nothing. i know eastmall will fix so i heard but they are closed tell after sum big holiday. wich is 2 weeks or somthing eny one have eny ideas on how i can get this thing to work

The only times I find mine doesn't fire up I unscrew the adapter cap and wipe the contact surfaces with a tissue. I've been dripping with the 801 and found liquid had crept down and wetted the contacts and stopped it firing. But this was using the first batch idulgence caps. The new ones have a better seal.
Also check your battery spring is pushing the battery up enough to contact.
If you have a multimeter handy you could check and confirm if power is getting to the atty.
