Offensive content: (Personal info) The post contains an email address, phone number, street address, or other private information about another individual. We do not allow the posting of this information because once it is indexed by the search engines it may cause a person annoyances in the form of spam, telemarketing calls, etc. Note that it is acceptable to provide the public with a user's real name and general locale (e.g. "someuser is really Joe Smith from Brighton"). Infraction: 1 point |

Personally I would bump the point total on this one, big time. Maybe to 5 or more. I think this type of thing is completely inexcusable. I would also include posting someone's IP.

Good suggestion - I think everyone knows by now this should not be done on the internet. IP is also a good thing to add. 5 Points would be good. Anyone else? |

The more I think about this, the more I think this should be one thing that would almost be grounds for an immediate ban. If anyone disagrees, 5 would be OK.

this one i say should be a biggie 5 sounds good or even a ban. breaking someones personal privacy is a big thing. now if the person post there own info...maybe we should adapt the rule and make it that all private info only be shared via pm and posting it is not allowed in that case it would be a 10.

Bump the total up BIG TIME on this one. NO ONE has the right to release anyone's personal information on this forum. Suppliers all get it and I'm sure most would never do something like this, but also people sell in the classifieds too and get one another's personal info. So this is just NOT cool at all.

For sure, I don't think you'll find much argument with this one.

That is a good one that everyone can understand. No one wants spam and telemarker calling and they don't pay any attention to The Don't Call list.
