Bureaucracy destroys initiative. There is little that bureaucrats hate more than innovation, especially innovation that produces better results than the old routines.

Do not be trapped by the need to achieve anything. This way, you achieve everything.

The rule intent needs to be clarified before we can even suggest wording. Who exactly does it apply to and who is it trying to protect?

agreed, for it could easily end up going out of control. For example, a post such as "What were they thinking?", made in reference to people that voted for a certain politician (regardless of who is it) could easily be inferred as an attack post. Same for any post that speaks out against any other group. Even posts against ASH.

i think the intent of this guide line is to help moderators and users a like know when someone has reported that they have been insulted. other then that i am unsure.. maybe this one is redundant i know apo helped a lot with these and maybe this one just does not apply well to the new system.

Just to get a guidline here since we're discussing "group attacks." Is http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...e-smokers.html offensive to anyone but me? It is "Outside" but seems to ridicule any political party that is not Republican.

Ridicule can also be highly offensive if it's geared towards certain political or religous groups.

I guess that doesn't count. ...Answers my question.
