Default Need input/USB wall plug

I ordered a wall plug with a USB plug, thinking I could use it with my passthru, but turns out it was only meant for charging, NOT passthru. Am I wrong in thinking there is one of these out there SOMEWHERE that will support the use of vaping directly with my passthru?

The wall USB I got with my 401 kit is rated at 500mA. Thats a bit on the low side, with only a potential for 2.5 watts. Same as older computers USB port output tho. Your 3.7 batt with an 801 atty is using 4.4 watts. So although the voltage is lower, you are actually using more power and producing more vape.

If I were in a store buying one I would shop around and try and find one that puts out 1000mA/1A so you have the potential for 5 watts (closer to what 5V vatt mods put out)

This is the one I bought.
Amazon.com: Coby CA81 Dual USB Power Adapter/Charger (White): Everything Else
It says:
Input; AC 100-240V 50/60Hz Output; DC 5V, 1A
The other one I bought was 4.7V but only .08A. The website I bought it from didn't state this information, but they did state that it was FOR charging. I just asumed it would work. Live and learn. lol

Carefull they can be tricking you there... The output is 1 amp BUT there are 2 UBS outlets. So 500ma X 2 outlets = 1 amp total, which unless you are running 2 PT's at the same time, doesn't give you an advantage over a single outlet at 500 ma

props, thanks for that info! I have already ordered, so it's too late. LOL

I have read that some people have them with 500mah, and they are working ok, so hopefully this will work for me. I will post an update when I find out.

I have 500 mA, so its not the end of the world. If I had to do it again, I'd be looking for a 1 amp.

I'm sure you will be happy with the one you purchased.

Happy vaping.
