Default Compatibility - 901 atty w DPV9 batt?

Anyone used a 901 atomizer with a DPV9 battery?
It seems to work but I want to know if there is a downside for continuous use this way other than the obvious length difference.

I use them all the time. I don't think it hurts anything and gives me another option of battery! They use the same charger as the 901 so the threads are the same!
Hope this helps!!
