    Default Joye eGo-C Upgrade batteries now available!

    Joye eGo-C upgrade Battery which has 2 modes to switch. One mode is the constant voltage output mode at 3.3v, the same as the eGo-C batteries. The other mode is variable voltage mode, which works from 3.6v to 4.15v.

    How to switch from constant 3.3 volt to variable voltage 3.6 volt to 4.15 volt mode:

    The battery must be in the off position to change between the two modes. (
    It turns on/off by pressing the button 5 clicks within 2 seconds.)
    Once the battery is in the off position. Hold the button in for 5 seconds the button will flashes Three times (white light indicates 3.3 constant mode, Orange light indicates variable voltage mode 3.6v to 4.15v) once you have selected the mode of your choice. Just press the button five more times on the battery to turn the battery back on.

    GENUINE Joye Product!

    The eGo-C Upgrade Battery has a 5 on 5 off power function.
    It turns on/off by pressing the button 5 clicks within 2 seconds.

    Battery size:
    1000mAh: Length 3.97" (100mm) Diameter 0.55" (14mm)
    650mAh: Length 2.95" (75mm) Diameter 0.55" (14mm)

    I Love this battery but...

    There are 3 models.sizes:
    650mah = Size: Length 75mm (2.95") x Diameter 14mm (0.55")
    900mah = Size:Length 89mm (3.5") x Diameter 14mm (0.55")
    1000mah = Size:Length 100mm (3.93") x Diameter 14mm (0.55")

    I have not seen a 3.3v "Constant" yet - and the Battery takes 7 seconds to switch modes.

    Battery is brand new with a Full Charge (just came off the charger 2 hours ago).

    Silver "eGo-C Upgrade" 900mah

    Tested using a modified Center Post from a Vision "Stardust" and Digital Multimeter

    100_1757.jpg
    Note the "White" Button Color. This should be in "Constant 3.3V" Mode
    Voltage is showing 4.09V

    100_1758.jpg
    Note the "Orange/Yellow" Button Color. This should be in "High Voltage" Mode
    Voltage is showing 4.17V

    Granted, 4.17V is "High Voltage" Mode if the standard mode were 3.3V.

    Can someone please guide me to a link that explains fully what the advantage is of having the dual modes. Thanks
