Default New Ovale eGo-C changeable system.

I scored this new product teaser on youtube.
It looks like an evolution of the Ovale ego-t.
Don't know how exactly it is made but seems interesting.

At any rate, I just wiggle it a bit and pull it off very gently with the tweezers. I have only lost one wick doing this when the mesh pulled from the wicking. You have to be careful but it works for me.
When I have pulled the spike plate off, sometimes it just pulls some of the wick from the spike plate and ruins the wick with only 1/2 of the treads in the spike and you can't put them back in the needle.

I haven't had that happen. Every time I have taken apart the atty I find the wick stuck to the coil. I would think to solve your problem you could just poke a paper clip through the top of the spike and push the wick out as you pull the spike off?

I choose to use the least extreme cleaning methods and have pretty good luck with it. I put it under a faucet with hot running water for a few minutes, dry it out some (including compressed air), do a few dry burns, and put it back in service.

I'm sort of with you there Tom. If it took any more effort than what I currently put into it, I don't think I would bother cleaning them at all. With the C's being priced where they are it just isn't worth much of an effort to clean them.

Bought the Ego-c from Ovale. Worked great and used the 5 attys in the pack. I like lots of juice, everything from cinnamon to menthol, so I use designated attys for each of the harsh flavors.

I also had 10 attys from Ovale that I ordered. All 10 did not work at all, unless you like dry hits. The first 5, no issues. Not sure what went wrong with these. I just got my order in from cignot and have no issues.

Seems to me there may be a manufacturing issue since they are all joyetech.

Strange. I have 10 knock off ones from vaperite right now. Gone threw 15 from Ovale previously. Had 5 that I got from some place that I don't remember. Out of all of them, they all seem to preform the same to me. And last the same amount of time too. All but 5 where/are the LR ones too.

    That just seems really strange...

I know. I want to take apart one of the new ones I got, but will hold off. They look identical. Nothing different about them. But, I tried everything to get the replacements from Ovale to work. I took the spike off. Added juice to the top and bottom of the wick. Put back together and with in 5 to 6 draws, BURNT taste. Take them apart again, adjust wick Up, down. Even tried to remove a few strands of wick. All for nothing. I don't get it. But something isn't right with the 2 packs of replacements.

I GOT IT!! I just took apart one of my new Attys and the mesh is more then half the size of the mesh found on the Ovale replacements. The mesh on the Ovale's went almost the entire length of the spike. I know they are from the same manufacturer, but I am sure they have different "born on dates". This is something that certainly needs to be looked into. I am tempted to place another order through cignot in hopes to stock up on atty's that were probably manufactured together.

It's got to be that mesh.

ALL IS RIGHT IN MY WORLD.....was really close to throwing in the towel.
