Default Anybody interested in showing off thier eGo setups?

I would very much appreciate some eGo setup suggestions and of course some pictures. I have researched enough to know that I'm certainly interested in the eGo setups, and the tank rigs in particular appeal to me, as most I've seen are simply beautiful. I'm also interested in VV batteries. The possibility to adjust voltage sounds great, and they seem to add more to the P in PV in thier appearence as well. Just need some easy reference, inspiration and possibly your preferences/trust with certain brands for my future purchase. Also, should I postpone reviews until I'm free of this new members forum?
    Thank you

Sorry to disappoint you, I use the good old commercial set up.

Works great for me, it's practical and discreet enough that I can use it pretty much everywhere without starting a panic.

    My eGo setup lol.

Seriously though, the best thing you can do for an ego setup is not overpay with some 80 basic kit with 2 batteries/attys and a handful of tanks. Think 50ish dollars with 2 batteries, a case, 5 catromizers, 2 attys, 5 carts...blah blah blah you get the point.

Many people suggest avoiding the ego-t(ank), myself included, but it was a good start for me personally. The easiest ego setup to start out with is going to be straight ego battery with cartomizers and a cone, it's simple, straight forward, and easy to use (plus it's got decent flavor/vapor and isn't fiddly). The new(?) ego twist sounds like the best way to go for a VV ego, I'm not big on ego's myself but I might check this one out, and of the ego variants the Kgo seems to get the most love for being a true 3.7 volt device vs the ego's regulated 3.4.

I'd say do some research, read/watch some reviews, and ask away please. Another good way to go, if you have the money, is to get an ego/kgo with cartomizers, atomizers, tank system(ego-t), and CE2(ego-w) just to try the spectrum...ideal I suppose, but if you already enjoy vaping it might just be a better idea to jump on a longer lasting PV (I could name a metric ton, makes no sense).

    Suppliers I trust most:

eJuicemonkeys : the eGo is truly their bread and butter, and the owners are so nice and very helpful to boot.

Madvapes might be a bit overwhelming to someone without much experience, but I do go here for everything but PVs and juice so they're worth mentioning.

My eGo setup consists of an eGo LCD battery and a 1.7ohm carto. Nothing much to look at, but great unregulated voltage and a warm consistent vape. If you definitely want variable voltage in the eGo size, I recommend taking a look at the new Joye eGo-c Twist batteries. They work great with 2-3ohm cartos and I've seen reliability issues with some of the other VV eGo style batteries.

If you're going to go with a non VV ego, sounds like you're going with VV lol, I feel your best bet is your preferred ?go variant with one of the 1.25 or 1.5 ohm dual coil cartomizers(or carto tanks) or a 1.7 ohm single coil (sometimes referred to as a resurrector). Those two cartomizers are going to give you the best milage with an ego, I use them on just about all my non ego mods lol.

Found a few more pics of my older egos (unmodded too)

The case was my first mod, I was so proud of that set up. Not really much to look at, but it got me started.

This has my 650mAH ego with a slim tank, and 650 ego passthrough set up as an ego-w. That was pretty recent really.

I also just picked up an ego-C Twist - probably will run it with a 2 or 2.5 ohm atty, drip shield and vase style drip tip. Started on a kGo with a 1.5 ohm atty, ds, and marble drip tip from The Vapor Room. Can't post a pic from my iPad???
