Default Why all the hate for the eGo-C?

I don't understand why everyone seems to knock the stock eGo-C tank system? I've just started using it for a few weeks and I think its great.

I started vaping almost 2 months ago with an 808 kit from Smokeless Image. Within a week I bought an eGo Twist. The Twist was brand new, so no starter kits. I've used it with just about everything except RBA systems. Stardusts, Boge cartos, Smoktech cartos, CE2's, EMDCC's, DCT tanks, Vivi Nova tanks, and dripping on Joye and hybrid attys. In the beginning, everything was great, but as my tastebuds changed, I started liking these systems less and less (especially) cartos.

I never even thought to try the eGo-C system because I thought a "factory stock" setup couldn't work as good as all these hight end third party options. I'd also seen plenty of posts here bashing the tank system. Even PBUSARDO was less then thrilled with it.

I found a Type-A setup here on the classifieds here for a crazy good price, so I figured I better try it out. WOW. Great taste, great vapor, pretty consistent, VERY easy to change flavors (I tend to get bored with juice quick), and it looks great on an eGo. One downside is the small tank size, so I quickly bought a Type-B base/cone and some cartridges and I'm in love. the maintenance seems simple enough, the atty heads are very easy to take apart and clean. The only time I even get a slight burned taste is when I run it a bit to high on my Smoktech VMAX, but that's an issue with just about any juice delivery system on that PV because its sooo powerful.

So my question is, what am I missing? How come I tend to see more posts bashing the system then praising it?

I don't understand either. It could be that the Ego-T had some leaking issues (never used it myself), so they just project that on to the Ego-C.

I love my eGo-C. No leaks and no burnt taste (unless I let the tank run dry).

When I bought it I added 5 more heads and now I rotate them over a weeks time. Each night I'll replace the current one and put it in a cup of water to soak until cleaning day. At the end of the week I'll have 7 heads that have soaked for at least 24 hours and I'll run those through my sonic cleaner then shoot water through them with a syringe from the needle end to force out the little particles the sonic cleaner broke loose. Then I'll run some PGA through them to displace the water and force out whatever impurities may remain. After that I'll check the resistance of each to make sure they survived the cleaning (haven't lost one yet) then prime each with 6 drops of liquid. These go into a little plastic bag where I'll repeat the process of replacing one a night for the next week. I've never found the need to dry burn, so I skip that part.

    I'm a happy camper with my eGo-C...

Some people shouldn't be allowed to operate a phillips screwdriver. I think those people have the real problems. They write about it and others who've never even used one parrot it.
Some parrot it because they don't like Joyetech or Joyetech's price. Some parrot it just because it's not what they use and more people using what they use strokes their ego. Some parrot it because they don't know anything and parroting is all they have to make it sound like they know something.

When Starbucks started it was a 'cool little niche' for certain type of people .... when it grew, then came the 'Starbucks Sucks' sites I always thought their coffee was good - still do. (translate into joyetech or ego's in general)... I think Myk nailed it...

I'v been using my Ego-C for 4 months straight and I used to use the Ego-T for 1 year before this. All i do is clean the atty every few weeks and I never get a burned draw. When I used the Ego-T system I would have problems with leaking and burnt taste. Not apparent on the C. I love is so far.

I haven't really ready the to many posts on the eGo-C system, but I bought one for my mom and she loves it. It does leak as she found out if you don't know how to clean the atty. After I showed her what not to do, she has had no leaking issues. I think this is a great easy to use system for people that like a zero fiddle system that will just work.
