TECC works with branded products and packaging which adds to cost. As the 510 goes, Its one of the few e cigs that is really satisfying for a moderate to heavy analog smoker. I would not be surprised if the e cigs at some point you will see a adjustable atomizer to control flavor and vapor production as well as much longer battery life as new advancements of nano batteries roll out.
