Just received my manual 510 today and WOW is all I can say. The vapor production and throat hit is far superior to any other vaporizer I have ever experienced, including a ScrewDriver, M401, RS-888 Mini-Pipe etc. I am really enjoying it, but I am scared to get too excited as I feel like this thing could die at any minute after reading some of the other reviews. If this thing holds up, I would not see any reason to buy any other e-cig in the near future, but then again, wasn't that always the problem with the 510? My only concern is that I usually carry my vaporizers in my 5th pocket, but am concerned that the button will be accidently held down causing the atomizer to burn out. Does any one out there with the manual 510/Dura have any experience with this? The 510/Dura is kind of like an exotic luxury mobile, when it works its amazing, but it breaks more than a Honda (DSE901?). Thanks. |

The Dura/510 is like driving a Ferrari but has the reliability of a Yugo. You will be fine but have another model as a backup.

I finally broke down and ordered a 510-C tonight :-). Yes, I am concerned about the battery problems but one person who has one (convinced me to get one) says that he has been watching this and that if things die they do so usually within within the first two weeks. None the less, I plan on ordering at least 2-3 atomizers and a couple batteries next month to go with it. An 801 with too many vaporizer failures made me a believer in having spares :-). I really do NOT want to have to go back to analogs. Right now, with one atomizer working I am filling in with analogs and it is pretty disgusting which sure keeps it from getting out of hand :-). From all I have heard, it seems the 510 is about the best out there, so we jump in .As for tripping the switch on the batteries, I have an old Altoids tin I lined with the stuff that the 801 was shipped in. Can get in 2 batteries, 2 carts and a tiny little bottle to refill with if necessary quite comfortably and it fits in a shirt pocket like a pack of analogs once did. Will use that for the 510 batteries too until I can afford a PCC. |

got my manual 510 today.. much faster than expected from electronicstix.. absolutely love it.. only thing i think is important to mention is that the manual batteries have no LED.. i didnt realize that as it wasnt on the site, but its not a major issue for me.. ill use it when i want to be more undercover like in the movies .. im probably going to just order an auto battery to go along with it for when i want the light.. but the battery lasted about 6 hours of heavy usage today.. i went through about 3 carts.. and im really impressed with how well it produces vapor.

I forgot to mention in my review that the one I was referring to was the 510 kit I purchased from Electronicstix.com and the shipping was amazing. I ordered it on Tuesday evening and got it Thursday! I have ordered another couple kits from Dietsmokes and Janty, but the funny thing about it was that I ordered from Electronicstix last and got it first. Jason is really great and will reply to your emails super quick! I definately will be doing much more business with him! Also, Jason told me that he is expecting a new shipment soon of manual 510s with a LED as well. Looks like I have an excuse to buy a few more kits now .

My experience with Jason at Electronicstix.com has been the same. Fast response and shipped same day. Have only noticed a slight random leak here or there. I already have another kit coming from him with the new carts he designed and some cappucino. I'm anxious to try them.

With the quality concerns with the Dura/510, is it wise to get a 510 with a non Janty warranty.? (14 days)
