Default Janty Kissbox Classic: First impressions

I got my Janty Kissbox Classic yesterday on June 18th. My order was shipped from RuyanXpress on the 10th. The package really arrived three days ago but was stopped for a while by the customs.

After using the Janty Classic for half a day I am quite satisfied.

Here are my first impressions.
1) Vapor: There is a lot of vapor (More than the vapor I got from my Njoy when it was new). I feel heat in my throat similar to when I am smoking a real cigarette.
2) Taste: I have only tried the chocolate cartridges so far and they have a really good taste.
3) Looks and feels: The Janty Classic looks good, is quite light and comfortable to hold.
4) USB: Tried using the USB yesterday and it worked perfectly!
5) Manual switch: The manual switch does not seem to work. I push the button an nothing happens. Nothing happens when I try to smoke using the manual switch. No vapor, no nothing! Maybe I am using it wrong?!

Overall I am very impressed. If I get the manual switch to work and the device won’t break down after only few weeks of use (something that seems to happen often with e-cigs) I will be a happy customer!

I also own an Njoy Cigar that I was very happy with until it stopped working (stopped producing enough smoke). I am waiting for a replacement.

Sorry to hear about the manual switch; the manual switches were the part I liked best. I'd say don't bother trying to get it to work, contact Janty and they'll send out a new one, or probably an all new set of switches.

How should I use the manual switch correctly? What is the difference? I am not sure how it is supposed to be better than regular "vaping"

You know, you are not the first person to ask that, so it's a common question. But I just don't understand why people even have to ask. It's a button. You push it to start current to the atomizer. You let go of the button to stop.

Shogun,
I'm one of those who need E-cigs For Dummies so I think I understand why you might ask. BTW, TropicalBob says he's like that also but I don't believe him - he cooks his own eliquid!

Although my Kissbox turned out to be a lemon and crashed in the first 24 hrs. I did get a chance to play with the manual switch. The instructions say press it for 6 seconds. When I did that I heard a hissing noise. Then you can smoke it. I didn't like it at all. It limited the amount of time you could smoke the ecig.

Don't know if that helped but give me an E for effort, ok?

So do the regular e-cigs. They all cut off automatically after 5 seconds. That's when the LED blinks. That's to keep the atomizer from overheating and burning out.

With either switch, the atomizer will vapourize the liquid at the same rate. When you use an automatic switch, you have to suck hard enough to activate the switch which usually means your draw will be faster. With a manual switch you can suck less firmly, get a slower draw so more liquid is atomized per mouthful which is how you end up with a greater volume of vapour.
Hope this helps,

Phil.

It seems like a silly question but I had already tried to push and hold the button down but nothing happened. That is why I asked.

the press for six seconds is a safely health thing.. so is the auto cut off after so many seconds.. its "health" thing.. to stop "dummies" from overdosing.. and them of course being sued..

press for two seconds.. cook the fluid in the atomizer .. then suck for three or four seconds should produce nice smoke.. if it dosnt the switch isnt working..

trog
