It does take longer to get orders from China, it's one of the drawbacks to lower prices. I've had a couple shipments through customs and one took under an hour, the other was there for a couple days.

I have ordered several times from Ruyan Direct, never any problems. But what you wrote above looks really bad. You are basically saying that they are shipping merchandise they know already is of low quality. That is really surprising.

I know that the shipping takes longer but as I said the item shipped on the 24th is still sitting in customs since 7/2 and another order I placed shipped on 6/29 and arrived but hasn't gone thru customs yet. Hopefully sometime this week I should be receiving both orders. What I don't understand is why 2 orders placed 1 week apart will probably arrive at the same time.

You know tparganos, it's hard to tell. A lot of time the tracking doesn't get updated. I saw my order sit in china for 5 days, not even leaving the country. Then all of a sudden, 3 days later it was all updated and at my post office.

Honestly, when I think of all the steps it takes to get packages over here, I'm amazed at the success rate!

No worries, it will get here. For cheapest prices you just have to be patient. :-) There are some good prices in the states if you're worried about shipping times.

I ordered from them and items were shipped on the 23rd of June, got my shipment on July 3rd. The shipping was as stated, 7-10 business days. My items sat in New York for 2 days, so if it wasn't for that I would have received it sooner.

I'm almost certain you'll see it tomorrow or Tuesday, since Saturday was a holiday.

No worries, it will get here. For cheapest prices you just have to be patient. :-) There are some good prices in the states if you're worried about shipping times.

I don't like the fact that it was handed over to customs. Can they confiscate this? and will I be out of the $ I spent?

I checked with usps and my second order is being delivered today and never went through customs. My first order is still in customs. I can't figure this out. It was a small order only a 510 3 attomizers and a car charger. On the other hand the second order included the same stuff along with 2 PCC and 5 bottles of liquid and that never went through customs.

Whether it shows going through customs or not I believe all overseas shipments do go though customs (can someone confirm/deny??). Packages go through xray and then random packages are inspected. The smaller personal packages usually seem to go through fine without being opened.

Keep in mind that tracking, even thru USPS may not be as updated or complete as we would all like. :-)

Oh, and "handed" over to customs just means it's sitting in customs. Not that it has been chosen for inspection. I had a package in customs for several days and then, voila, it was out.

Do a search for 'customs' on this site and there's been a ton of discussion so you should find some good threads.

Ok I received my second order yesterday and the one in customs was released today and they attempted delivery but I was at work so I have to pick up the package tomorrow. Thank goodness, I was a little weary but now all is well. I will check the package and let you know if it was tampered with.

I just got my first order from them today, got to me (utah) in only 8 days. I happy with um' and will be gettin' all my juice from them from now on.
