Real POS, I ordered 4, 3 of them were DOA. Stay away from Ebay, order a 510 from one of the suppliers on the forum. JMHO

Well it's about time!

I've got some 510's coming in from three different suppliers. I understand there's a new atomizer version. I'll post any revelations.

HA HA someone else with the same problem i experienced ( so i am not crazy ! )

i was too but thats what returns are all about. at first i thought their customer service was excellent but now in retrospect i am not so sure. they replaced both of them the first one i sent back ( prolly so they could inspect it ) the second one they just sent another when i notified them about 2 weeks later. id say they roughly lasted about 3 weeks each tho. i would also like to add they must have done this to rectify the problem once it was known i guess because the 2nd one was clearly past the 28 days. ( which i appreciated ! ) now what did i do with the broken atomizer ? thats right i disassembled it. and let me tell you it wasnt easy to get apart ! i do however have all the parts in a nice little baggy for later should i want to view them. didnt look like any of the pictures ive seen of the inside of atomizers yet.

you bring up a good point about the batteries ! now that i think about it and realize why my automatic malfunctioned ( the hole in the middle on the autos .. (which doesnt exist in the manuals which are the best for dripping.) because of overfilling the crappy atomizers i originally got. now that i know what was wrong i realize they shoulda been responsible for the battery that died as well and i clearly stated in my emails about the auto having problems which they did not address. ( i honestly thought it was my fault so i didnt push it i know longer feel like it was. ) so to rectify the backup situations i purchased the USB passthrough. so basically i am out 1 auto battery through no fault of my own. i wouldnt care as much if i had the $ but i dont these days so im getting a little fumed as well.. guess i will find out tho shortly how good they really are. ( i mostly selected them because of what i read and their locality to me which is about 50 miles quick shipping about 2 days ) i love their menthol super high but i have heard some good things about ecopure as well. so this time when i went to order and there was a small problem. ( which i am thankful for now in retrospect. ) so i shopped around a little on Scott's Discount Codes page ( igetcha69 ) and i ordered from innovapor and tho its clear across the country ive got my hopes up high. ( you get about double what you would from TW for the same $ ) they claim to have a new version of the 510 atomizer that takes it from a rating of 10,000 puffs to 30,000 ! ( crosses 8 fingers 2 thumbs 2 legs 2 big toes and both arms ! ) so i am stoked a little too guys will report back soon as they arrive ( shipped today ) about the ecopure vs TW too

Again, it's not the supplier. In this early-adopter climate, it's all about the timing of your order.

If the supplier/distributor accepts whatever he's given, then you'll benefit or suffer based on the luck of the draw. The supplier will suffer with come-backs because of crap quality -- re-ships and refunds -- and learn from his mistakes. The supplier/distributor needs to tighten the screws on the mfr to ensure quality.

Find a distributor who knows what s/he's doing. Otherwise you're paying for their education.

I orderd a set from purevape.com and was more than pleased with the service and quality of the product. Fast delivery, when they say shipped next day it really is shipped next day, good customer service and very easy website to navigate throughout...I was actually so pleased I wrote a reviewhere.

I posted about this on the Totally-Wicked section of ECF Forum:
"I've actually found that the atomizers I got from TW are different than the ones I've gotten from other suppliers. I ordered the Multipacks of batteries and atomizers.

The TW ones I got (white) have a mesh protrusion that is somewhat thinner shaped. I'm wondering if that is what is causing a problem I am having: The atomizer does not seem to play well with the cartridges. As in it will only drain the VERY top of the cartridge in the 510 and not drain the rest of the cart like it does in other 510 atomizers I have.

I hate to bash a supplier as I've only heard good things about them but I gotta say, I'm pissed off that my atomizers suck.

I don't even use the atomizers I got from their multipack anymore. I use the atomizers I had originally intended to replace. These atomizers I got from Dietsmokes and Widow.

I think Totally Wicked got a bad batch; the fact that they seem to do a brisk business in Titans leads me to believe that the particular ones that I got were part of that bad batch and hopefully it's the exception and not the norm. Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it because there's no warranty on the Multipacks.

One of my 510 LED batteries from their mulitpack went berserk as well and continues to stay lighted even after disconnected from everything. It started doing this on Friday so I just left it glowing on my desk. It's Wednesday evening now and it's still on like a perpetual flashlight. Maybe this battery is the solution to the energy crisis.

Like I said, I'm sure this would happen to any supplier and not just TW.

I think we should just stick with warranties and the higher price than multipacks that might leave you wanting.
I've experienced the exact same problems as you have. The first atomizers I got were simply fantastic (no golden band on them), producing heaps and heaps of vap and also draining, maybe not all, but most of a cartridge. Unfortunately, I also had a battery go haywire, never turning itself off, which fried one out of the two good atomizers. Dumb as I am, after it had discharged itself, I tried a recharge and use it again. This worked for a little while, before the same thing happened, burning out the second of the two good atomizers.

Ordered a multipack of atomizers not long ago, and the first drag with the first one, gave me a distinct "ploink". When I looked inside it, it seemed that the fuse had somehow broke, and threads were sticking out every which way inside of it. The other ones have worked reasonably well so far, exempting the fact that they only draw from the very top of the cart. I should mention, though, they've only seen very, very light use since I got them.

I have to say, the battery getting stuck kinda freaked me out. The first time it did so, it took a while for me to notice it, and by that time the atomizer was way too hot to touch. Extreme heat and batteries = seriously bad combo. Luckily, I had some pliers nearby.

As for bashing suppliers, I don't think making people aware of situations qualifies as bashing at all. I, too, am aware that TECC seem to have some sort of zomfg-dontcha-say-nuffin-bad-'bout'em status, but I've had other dealings with them that have left less than satisfied, to say the least.

Ok, here's an update. So far I have three 510 batts from three different suppliers. All are reliable, work exactly the same and as described here on the forum. I won't post names here, but PM me if you really want to know.

Default Newbie Experience

Well, I got a Blu 1 Jul - sucked. Where's the vape??? Yeah, I fell for the slick ad. I was still honking analogs on it. Sort of defeats the purpose. I read this forum, and ordered a 510 from ecigexpress.com last week. Free shipping, and it came with 2 attys, which most others didn't. He's in Ohio, and it arrived in 2 days. I cranked it up Saturday morning, and what a difference! I haven't had an analog since. One complaint - not as good flavor as the Blu, and this is after I refilled with JC juice. Oh, well.

Well, the first atty died last night, and the second is dying now. I emailed ecig today and he said he'd send me a replacement. Tomorrow, I'll have to tell him to send me 2.

I still have 3 packs of analogs in the cupboard, but I REALLY don't want to go there. In desperation, I slapped the 510 manual batty on the Blu atty and cart, and so far, not too bad. It'll do. Kinda.

Meanwhile, I ordered a DSE 901 manual from Eastmall yesterday, since I've heard they have better flavor. We'll see..........

I also ordered some of their juice. Anyone have any opinions on their brand?

I ordered an assortment of juice when they had a special recently. No complaints. I like the Kent flavor. The Mboro is good, 555 knocks me to the floor. Green tea, Tbk are next in line to try.
