I ordered the VP1 also and cannot wait to get it. Hope it works as great as it looks.

I have had my VP1 for about 3 weeks..can't say enough good about it..except I am only getting 2 hours from a batt! I am told this is normal..but I am not sure about that. I got the 901 kit because it was cheaper then piece mealing it and I love my 901 atty's. That means I can also use the 801 if I want longer cart life.
Because of the hole in the 901 adapter I can use a cartomizer on it when I feel like it.

I heard from the Vaprlife people that a passthrough and 5 volt will be coming for 2010.

If you carry 2 extra bats with you and one in the vp1, you have 6 hours of batt life. With a little hard shell case, it's not that bad. Especially if you carry a purse

the Protege is of similar size and will last you almost 3 times as long as the VP1 due to the higher capacity battery.

I have been told to try the cigar battery. I just have to find the numbers for that so I can get it from battery Junction. Yeah I do carry the batteries with me, but I think I may have gotten some bad batts, they really don't hold a charge for very long. If I don't use them in a day they have to be recharged.

Default VP - 2 Rocks

Hi everyone,
My very first post and 40 days of not being a smoker after 40 years/2 packs etc. Stopped smoking on a dime with the 801 pen set from awesome vapors. Never cheated or came close to another nail!... would have never never never been able to do that without this life saver... started my wife with the same set two days later. Same results.. NO MORE SMOKING!!!.
Did alot of homework, and for me it was the VP-2. This unit is the same as the VP-1 but with a longer PROTECTED BATT life.
Almost went with the Prodigy or Protege..
My take on this KILLER PRODUCT.... (remember this is my opinion only>)..
Vapor.... I got the 801 VP-2. and if you picture the 801 vapor production which is one of the finest.. well triple that with a easy draw... no jokes.
Flavors... Juices that i couldn't taste (my taste buds are back i hope by now) I could for taste now, rich, full and wonderful..
what a difference than using the pen 801.. no comparision...
I'll stop here.. didn't want to sound excited but it is just a dream unit.
Built like a brick..

In answer to a couple comments I read here:
You can buy the full set with the VP-2, Charger, 2 PROTECTED Batts, atties and carts for around $130....
or what i purchased, the actual unit, charger, and 2 (PROTECTED BATTS) FOR $99 Big ones.

Vape on...

Default Vp-2

I have had the VP-2 (larger batt than VP-1 but otherwise essentially the same) for about two weeks now, and it is great! Battery life is outstanding. The batts on arrival, with no addn charging, went for at least two hours each. Vaping now on a fully charged batt and it is going strong. Vapor production is really good, as long as you keep the cartridge charged. The carts don't go long without refilling - a pet peeve with all e-cigs I have tried, and probably related more to how I vape than to the unit.

The unit is very well built, and beautifully engineered. Expensive, but based on my experience thus far I have to say it is well worth the cost.

Using the 801 atty, but also picked up the 901 adapters I can use the batt with my 901's.

Very satisfied. I highly recommend it.
