Angry Loongtotem - Terrible service

Hi all,

Just thought I'd do a review on service...
About four weeks ago I received a loongtotem mini that I had ordered. At first I was wrapped. it gives good smoke and the battery lasts all day after an overnight charge.
Then the battery died (you only get one battery with this one)
I have been trying to talk to these people to get a new battery for two weeks now and I just received an answer.
The answer I got was firstly (we will send battery with your next order) Not something I care to do if the product is inferior and they only have 4 flavours why would i spend another 100US on this???
when i told them that i couldnt afford another order right now, they advised me that I would have to ship it back to them (at my expense) so that they could fix it.
These people have no concept of customer service. I can only assume that they dont believe that the battery is dead and think that im a lier.
Then you have the saga of trying to talk to someone useful. i spoke to someone from the company on msn who told me after a while that i should email business at loongtotem. I still havent heard from them at all after two weeks. Then the same people told me to email info at loogtotem. havent heard back from that email yet either. I then added the info address to my msn and after a few tries got the above answers from them.
1. it shouldnt take two weeks to get in touch with someone useful.
2. if the msn link on the site is to people that cant make a decision, why have it there?
3. if they sent me a faulty product why should I be expected to make another purchase so that the original can be replaced?
4. why do I have to pay to ship the faulty product back to them?

My recommendation would be to steer clear of this company.
Very disappointing!!!!

a sad fast of life kathy is that people do tell lies.. both sellers and buyers..

loong totem tell lies.. being a long way away in china enables them to get away with it.. but then again getting freebies by saying the one u have dosnt work is all tooo easy for some buyers who tell lies..

the insistance of sending the product back does two things.. it provides proof the product is defective.. but above all it acts as a deterrent to the customer to take up their perceived rights..

which is what buying local is all about.. anything from china should be treated as buyer beware.. loong totem are not good people to deal with it seems..

being able to talk to them seems a key factor.. its the first hurdle placed in the way by a bad seller.. the placing of hurdles is not accidental..

i'm sorry you got the loong treatment kathyo13. its been loong documented on the forum that they are unscrupulous merchants. They think they can play us all for fools. but they wont be in business much loonger as they continue to act in this way.

Very unhelpful, i agree. i think the majority of buyers (me included) get baited by the fact that there is so much vapor. What they don't realize is that its only because of the juice. its just so high in PG its not funny.

These ecigs are so badly built. The battery cover on my v9 fell off when i took it out of the packaging and the battery cut out in 3 seconds.

Will not be affiliating with them in any shape or form in the future.

the battery cut out is a safety thing.. it used to be five seconds.. however i have been told my wayne from HG that all new 901 batteries will be three seconds..

the battery cut off after xxxx seconds is built it.. its not a fault.. its deliberate..

Hi Kathy

i no exactly what you mean my first thread on this forum was akk about loong totem.

when i received mine way back when only half the e cig was in the package it arrived in which was very badly packaged in bubblewrap they conned me into spending another £70 to get the rest of the packaging and the rest of the order, we now have about 4 or 6 batteries which are totally useless , i am supposed to be returning 2 batteries to them which i will get round to do eventually but it's not cheap. i dont know how many cartridges we have but as ned says they will come in for a rainy day.

you just have to take it on the chin i'm afraid but who knows one day we may have the perfect e:cig ha ha
