I'll ask a mod to put SmokingEverywhere and ePuffer on the first post, thanks for the suggestion Angel, I hadn't thought of that.

I guess I'm not the only one who can't edit my posts. I figured it was part of the not being able to start new threads, not being able to post links, etc (I also sent you a PM, Kate, I doubt you received it, because my post count did not increase -- technology sucks this month)

Anyway, if you didn't get my PM, it was just a thank you (I'd have given you +reputation, but I can't seem to do that either, I'm not sure if it isn't enabled on the forum, or if that's just also part of me being new).

Anyway, I've spent about 15-20 hours now going through threads in this forum trying to figure out what to buy, and where to buy it from. I've been extracting really good or relevant information from the site, so I can find it later, and it seems that I consistently find that the most informative helpful posts were written by you. So I wanted to say thank you for that, you're helping me save money, and health. I no longer feel like the ignorant consumer I did two days ago.

So thank you.

Okay, this can be disregarded, I actually can send and receive PM's, I just didn't realize it when I wrote this, and can't edit it.

Sigh, I've made 5 posts, and 2 of them are apologies for other posts

It has just been a really really bad month for me and computers. The internet is slowly killing my inner smile.

So the real question is what are you going to buy and where from?
I have been doing the same research and seem to be getting more confused by the day. I am pretty sure I am going for a 901 (of some sort) but no matter where I look, they all appear to be the same.

Wicked's 901 looks cool ...hmm.

Your 901's for the most part are all the same--Just grap one with a good price and get some extra atomizers as they can go at any time--Jump in and enjoy--Happy Vaping--Sun

Kate,

I think this thread has merit and can be very helpful for new folks trying to figure it all out, however, I also have an issue.

If the first post is not regularly edited with updates, then I think the thread may do suppliers who may have had a problem and have since worked it out a disservice. For example, if a member reads the first post and takes note of a supplier having problems and doesn't read post #124 which explains that the supplier has solved the problem and is no longer one to be wary about, then the thread does an injustice to the supplier who has worked hard to overcome its deficiency. Post #124 needs to be incorporated in post #1.

Just my 2 cents.

Mike

Hi Angel, I'm glad you're finding useful information, there's a lot of it around but it can be hard to find. Bloomin' technology is both a blessing and frustration, stick with it and keep your chin up

Mike, I agree about keeping the first post current so SmokeyJoe has kindly edited it for me with the most recent news for March.

Kate,

My first experience with e-cigs was a nightmare with a seemingly well-respected company on this site. My starter kit came with both batteries being defective. My only responses from the supplier were none (the norm) or defensive tirades, and they wouldn't respond to my inquiries about how to properly return them while still under warranty.
I eventually gave up and opened a dispute with PayPal and, suddenly, the problem was rectified within days.

Default Smoking Everywhere

They have excellent customer service and an exceptionally overpriced and inferior product.

The first one I got from them was impossible to draw on, so I called and they replaced it, no questions asked, w/ their "gold" version. The gold version is better but still an inferior product. The mall kiosk of theirs that I tried out also had excellent customer service. Still, if you sell an inferior product at outrageously high prices, I can't give you good marks.

But they were my entry into e-cigs, so I won't moan too much over the loss of the price of 6 cartons of meatcigs since it allowd me to find this forum and my new best friend, the penstyle.

Default Smoothsmoking.com

Hey everyone! I'm new to this site so wasn't sure where to post. Has anyone had any experience with or have heard anything about smoothsmoking.com? I was just on the website and the price is great compared what they were trying to sell me at the mall today(people from smoking everywhere). I've been reading different threads that have complaints on many things, so I just was curious about this site and if I should go ahead and give it a try. The starter kit is $59.99 and the cartridges are 5 fo $4.99.
