You're going to have basically the same number of "gadgets" no matter which company you buy from. Until a whole new class of e-cig is invented, they all mainly consist of a battery, atomizer, cartridge, and charger.

cheap (or cheaper than regular ciggs where I don't have to order a lot of stuff a lot of times)
All e-cigs need maintenance. At the very least you'll be buying replacement cartridges or refilling the ones you have with e-liquid. But remember, this is an emerging technology, and you may wind up replacing batteries and atomizers too. I expected to save a lot of money with e-cigs, but in fact I just about break even. Heck, let's be honest -- I've stopped counting the cost, because the benefits are priceless: no more lying awake at night hacking, no more ashes and burn holes, no more standing in the freezing rain smoking, etc. etc.

Quote:
long lasting battery (or at least that I can use it even w/o a battery)
It's the luck of the draw here. There are such things as USB pass-throughs, which don't require charging, but apparently my USB ports don't let enough current through to power them adequately. You might have better results. Some folks swear by them.

good customer service and warranty
I like NJoy. There may be other good vendors out there, but Al is one guy I'd recommend.

tastes like a regular cigg (Marlboro reds is what I smoke)
Tobacco flavors are available, although once I discovered the vanilla and strawberry flavors, the tobacco grosses me out!

I see that N-Joy is up there as one of the best regarding these features. Am I right or does someone have a different opinion?
See above.

Quote:
Last and not least, what are "juices"? Are these flavors that people add? If they are, then I don't really care for that because I just want a cigg that tastes like a cigg.
Juice is what contains your nicotine. You can either buy cartridges prefilled with juice in whatever flavor (including tobacco) you prefer, or you can top off your existing cartridges with additional juice. Naturally, adding juice is the least expensive option.

Any help is awesome!! I don't want to overspend since I am on a tight budget but I want to QUIT regular cigarettes ASAP.
I understand the budget thing. You may well spend as much money on e-cigs as you did on cigarettes -- I'm not going to lie to you -- but the benefits are priceless! I can smell and taste again! I don't walk around coughing, having to tell people "I'm coming down with something"! No more burn holes in my car's upholstery or in my clothes! For me it's a no-brainer.

One more question, when the battery runs out, does this mean it just doesn't give out vapors and/or light up but you can still use it and puff on it?
If the battery goes dead, it won't heat the atomizer, so will not produce vapor. It's like sucking on a pen.

Hope this helps!

Im chewing my way through this thread still but i just want to say i can only recommend Janty.

Infact, so far its the _only_ company ive talked to and bought from that has consistently offered me fast shipping, fast email answering, good customer support, lots of freebies when ordering, and so far i have yet to have problems.

I have the mini fogger, the dura-c (heavily used for.. one month now, no problems at all), the jantystick - which the first i got was dead on arrival, - so they sent me 3 new................. (now i suspect their reason for doing SO much is the fact that ive ordered close to 300 euros worth of liquids over the last few weeks before ordering my jantystick - i mean, you shouldnt expect to get 3 free jantysticks obviously - but im pleased )

So i can _only_ say good things about them, and their products, still today work excellent. And im a heavy vaper, despite my short e-cig time ( one month in total as i mentioned ).

I thought the PCC sounded great, charges e-cig 6 times and they claim the atty lasts over one year. If mine was not getting ready to ship I would cancel the order.
I definitely want to order the Prodigy. It sounds like the answer to all.
Apparently nowadays the wait is about a month and when received, people are complaining about atomizers burning out in a few days as well as issues with the batteries and chargers. Hmmmmm,,, That is pretty bad especially when waiting so long for a product.

I ordered a Blu starter kit on June 17th but got tired of waiting for it. Bought an NPRO at a Pilot station and later ordered a Titan 510 from Totally Wicked. Followed up with smoke juice from Totally Wicked and Johnson Creek, bought more 4081 atomizers and batteries from a couple other places. $470 so far.

And I still hadn't received the Blu...

I cancelled that order yesterday.

I recently purchased one from a company named Cigotine. They seem to have a good product. Ive tried others but this is the first one so far that i like. They have an economical starter pack that lets you try it before you go and make the $130 investment

Default Thanks for the input!

[quote=Kate;55812]I forgot to mention Gamucci in my initial post. Their ecigs aren't well regarded here and they don't appear to honour their warranty.

Here are some links to some relevant threads -

I was about to order some!!

I have had zero trouble with my Gammy and they sent me four new atty's when complained....
I complained about the shipping time for two spare burners I ordered, they lost my order so when I complained and proved to them they had been paid, they sent me 6 new burners!

Crown7 was my FIRST experience with e-cigs because they are located in Scottsdale,AZ right here in USA. I purchased the Hydro because of all the hype on their website about it being the NEW thing and more in line with the look of an actual cigarette. Everything I ordered came lightening FAST... UPS. I was truly disappointed in the amount of vapor the Hydro produced, sometimes near zero even with a new cartridge and fully charged battery. I email their support and received a response ASAP within less then 5 hours saying they would send a new replacement atomizer. It showed up in 2 days along with another new battery. Sadly to say, it didn't last long before it was back to producing near nothing for vapor. I wrote them again... and totld them I would just rather have my money back and they replied quickly with the proposed TRADE for their Traditional E-cigarette. So I mailed everything I got from them back to them and within days I received the Traditional which is more of a Pen Type e-cig. This baby WORKS! The batteries are longer in length and have a good hold charge rating compared to anything else I have tried and the cartridges stay in play for hours on end. It also packs a pretty good throat hit, therefore not requiring you to draw on it forever to get a good hit. I would never advocate for anyone to buy the dysfunctional HYDRO by crown7, BUT I would certainly highly recommend their Traditional Pen Style e-cig for daily heavy use. I am a hardcore vapor nut and need a unit that kicks butt. I have several different E-cig kits from various US suppliers, and my all time favorite thus this far is Crown7's Traditional. Plus their customer service has been above and beyond many others by far.

The only other company that has a Super customer support is greensmoke.com , and the ONLY reason I tried their product is because they sell a TWO piece e-cig that utilizes a NEW atomizer with every cartridge. I'm not sure at this point if that is so necessary, seems like a waste and so far I don't think anyone has found a way to refill the cartridges. You are suppose to send them back to greensmoke for recycling. And I am not sure what incentives they have for you to spend your money to send the empties back to them. Their e-cig puts off some mean vapor, but does not pack a punch like the Crown7 Traditional, so you find yourself hitting the greensmoke more often and harder... not so good in my opinion... but it looks better out in public and is more impressive. Plus the batteries don't seem to last for more then a few hours at best. Nice charging units come with it... USB and AC, 2 batteries and 5 carts. VERY PRICEY Unit ! Not recommended because of that $$$ reason.

I recently ordered the TITAN from Totally Wicked and am ANXIOUS to see how it will perform. Though I don't like having to spend time to mix e-liquid and fill cartridges... but I guess it's something I need to get used to doing.

One supplier to Totally Stay Away from is keepsmokinginside.com , very unresponsive, no email correspondence at all, and lies to you over the phone. Paypal push for resolution on the transaction and seller rushed delivery. Completely JUNK product !! You sometimes get exactly what you pay for. And you MUST do your research before buying anything from anyone selling E-cigs now a days. Sellers are popping up like corn in IOWA right now.

Hope some of this helps a few of you in one way or another. I'm new the forum and have learned a lot in just a very short time about vaping products and suppliers, plus much more.
