Initial first day Super-T1 Thoughs

So, I got my Super-T1 today and these are my initial impressions:

*It's so much lighter and thinner than you think it's going to be
*The button action is so much nicer than you think it's going to be
*The button lock is useful and awesome
*This won't look like it came from a head shop in public. It looks like something Doctor Who would use to kill a Dalek
*The adjustable airflow isn't just awesome, it's stunning.
*DO NOT try to use M201's on it. I killed three of them. They all died IMMEDIATELY at six volts. And I don't mean, quit working after a few minutes. I mean they literally died the second 6V touched them.

That being said, the value of this mod is simple: It absolutely makes love to the 801 atomizer. The wild changes in vaping behavoir achieved with the adjustable airflow have to be experienced to be believed. I screwed with the airflow all day, and I have a setting right now with a BE112 that is like a 901 at six volts with double the vapor. I really did not think such a simple thing would make such a stunning difference.

Modders: take note. At least with the 801, being able to adjust the airflow makes for some pretty impressive variability. It's a lot less like an adjustable airflow, and more like a throat hit and flavor adjustment.

Super-T1 Owners: Make SURE if you have the 801 you get the proper provided o-ring seal to guarantee 100 percent of the airflow is coming through the atomizer adapter. It's beyond worth it. The biggest one of the neoprine seals was the one that worked perfect with the BE112.


I'll do a more comprehensive review after I've soloed with it for a few weeks. At this moment, I'm beyond impressed. This combination of atomizer and PV might make all other voltage and atomizer options obsolete. I'm dead serious.

The SB's value is that it's freaking indestructible. Plus, you get 3.7V and 6v in the same product without having to do a magic dance, or sprinkle pixie dust. Plus, the button placement is ideal, and it had the best feeling button action of any PV I own so far.

The Prodigy's value is that 1 volt drop. It tames the 901 nicely with certain juices, and does amazing things with the slightly overbuild atomizers like the BE112 Joye302, and KBC/TAWA from Janty. It even makes the 510 awesome. It also has a fantastic button action. Having a button lock is awesome, but having a design where a button lock isn't necessary and you never worry about it going off in your pocket is superior.

The Super-T1 *seems* to be a must for any 801 lover, but I need more time with it. One day is hardly enough for a fair and objective comparison.

Actually? I may not. Right now it looks like something from a UFO crash, or something you'd find in a doctor's office and I think anything I'd do would ruin that. You could cosplay with this thing. I've already told someone today "Oh, it's my sonic screwdriver".

That's easy:

No comparison whatsoever. 801 at high volts will completely ruin it for you at 3.7. You'll never enjoy an 801 at low volts again. The 801's defining characteristic at normal voltage is the huge vapor and huge flavor, but low throat hit and low heat. At high voltage you get huge everything and a warmer hit. You get the same effect with 510's and 901's, but it's not nearly as pronounced.

I don't think you *have* to per say, but I did. I was usually happy around 24mg until I went high volt. Then I dropped to 10-12mg. The hits are stronger, so you do get more nicotine.
