Just received this thing the other day and been using it in my car, believe it or not, connected to the USB port on my stereo and it works quite well. There is no cut off, well as far as I know there is no cut off, I have held the button in for 10 seconds and it still producing vapor. I am loving this thing and would recommend it to anyone using the KR808D-1 E-cigs... |

The automatic one doesn't cut off, either. Don't you love the little sizzly sound at the end of a puff? That baby's really cookin'! I only use batteries when I take walks. Does the manual model have an LED? Auto doesn't, or at least mine doesn't. |

Nope, no LED, but no biggie for me, I just enjoy vaping in my car and not having to worry about switching batteries while I am driving etc.. I just keep an extra cart in the ash tray just in case (don't need the ash tray for anything else but change, lol)

I like it better without the LED, myself. It's not like you can't tell it's working; the vapor practically jumps into your mouth.

andy, just asking but, i saw in a video review that the PT generates more vapor than the regular one, is this true? It doesn't really matter, but the VK doesn't produce MASS amounts of vapor compared to some of the penstyles and the 510 that i own. i don't mind too much about the vapor production, cuz i still love my VK (one of my favorites).

The passthrough runs at 5 volts, so it cooks faster than the 3.7V standard battery. Yes, it's pretty vaporific. The long battery does pretty well, too, which made me curious about its voltage. I stuck a multimeter on one and it clocks 4.2V. I agree, the VK with standard battery isn't a huge producer, which is why I use 36mg juice with it. On the passthrough and long battery, I keep it at 24mg mostly. Standard battery seems to give about the same vapor quantity as my 801 (though the VK's vapor is more flavorful). |
