Default 510 Battery finishes

Just a quick note in case anyone wonders or cares...

I recently got a "titanium" battery for the 510. Works fine, looks good, but the finish is shiny and smooth. This makes it feel a little plastic-like when you hold it.

Its more comfortable to hold the matte black battery. It has a satin finish which doesn't feel plastic coated.

Has anyone tried the other colors? Are they also kind of slick feeling?

I like the titanium finish. It's pretty cool looking and it didn't feel any different for me. People who saw it at the bar the other night thought is was pretty slick, too - my MIL wants some!

Yeah the titanium is very cool looking. I've gotten used to the slick finish also.

I'm partial to the combination of matte black battery with titanium atomiser. It's a nice two-tone effect I discovered mixing and matching between 901 parts. Don't care for the feel of the shiny finishes on batteries.

YMMV...

Promise,

Yeah the titanium battery with black atomizer looks slick. Two tone finishes also make it easy to tell which end is which.

I got some black batteries with green LEDs. I like blue or purple better, but I ordered a different color so I'd know how old the batteries are.

I've got every color so far - including the new red. It's how I keep track of different flavors.

The only matte finish other than black is the white. The others are smooth. The pink and purple are glossy enamel. The stainless and titanium (yes - they are different), blue, red, and copper are metallic. In my opinion, the blue is drop dead gorgeous and the red is a close second.
