I think I am about to get myself a GC to give it a whirl due to Snarky's beautiful review but regardless of my experience with the GC, I can tell you for sure, that my other devices will not be used again unless I find myself in crisis and they are the only devices I have left still working. Somehow, I don't see that happening. So for now, it's cartomizers for me above all the other models that I have tried. This is it for me...unless of course some other new gadget comes out that I have to have. Hey I am a woman, I reserve the right to change my mind - and to look at you like you have two heads if you call me on it. | |

Word Phoenix, the cartomizers rule the E-Cig world in my eyes. The three piece units suck in so many ways with those cartsm ughh! I mean yeah they work and serve their purpose but the design engineering leaves a lot to be desired, your basically vaping a molotov cocktail! Let me know if your interested in getting some GC carts in bulk Phoenix, I think that is the smart thing to do while waiting for the Nhaler GC carts to come on the market. |

I haven't tried the Vapor King yet, but I have the 901, 510, and 801. I actually like using all three for different reasons. The 901 has the most flavor and a decent battery life. It produces the least vapor of the three (in general) but this really varies by atomizer. 901 atty's seem the most random to me. I have had 901's that outperform the 510 (vapor wise) and others that barely put out a puff. The 510 gives great throat hit, and a nice amount of vapor but the batteries don't last long at all. The flavor from the 510 is the weakest of the three. The 801 gives tons of vapor, a decent throat hit, and a nice level of flavor. The batteries last a very long time, at least double the 901 - and the 901 lasts about double the 510. I would have to say the 801 is my favorite overall. The large cart and great batteries allows you to vape for a long time without refilling or recharging. If you go with an 801 I STRONGLY suggest using the RN4072 version (atomizer that is). I find the low-bridge RN series atomizers last longer than any of the others I have tried and rarely have issues. Some of the 801 high-bridge attys have wicking problems and they never last as long. Adapters are a great option as well. You can pick up 510 -> 801, 510 -> 901, 801 -> 510, and 901 -> 510 adapters from AltSmoke, so you don't necessarily need to buy a whole kit. VaporCountry sells a 901 battery to VaporKing cartomizer adapter so you could always try that as well. If I were starting from scratch I would buy a Protoge 510 (3.7v mod), a 510 -> 801 adapter, and a 510 -> 901 adapter and have all three. Add a cartomizer adapter and you now have all the best in one package.

I would not jack around with a bunch of adapters and have a bunch of kits lying around but to each his own. Another perhaps even cheaper way to check out the cartomizers is to get a passthrough and a strip of 5 carts. The passthrough is nice and will give you a good idea of how long the carts last which is the real strength of the cartomizers. I love my GreenCig and would not trade it for ANY kit on the market today bar none. I believe the cost of the Passthrough is something like $19.00 at Nhaler, and use the 10% off code for further savings I also see that he dropped the shipping cost $3 too it's now only $7

True your options are open in front of you. If your happy with the 3pc models then more power to you, I was not happy with them and can't imagine going back to one. Everyone has their own taste that's for sure. I was a doubter of the cartomizers when I first got into this and it took 3 different kits and mods to get me to try it and then I kicked myself for not going with it in the first place. I found the KR808D-1 to be very convenient, easy to refill, really long lasting and a good taste and hit with it. I thought I had found the best until I got my hands on the GreenCig and then it was like Wow, this is how an E-cigarette should work. I wasted $150 minimum on kits and crap that I could have easily avoided if I had just went with it first. Live and learn I guess, one thing I have found is that even the cheapest of us have more than one kit, it seems like the average is around 2-3 different kits until they find the one they like and fits well with them. I enjoy being able to vape one cart for 24 hours without needing to constantly top it off or refill it. That right there is worth the cost difference in the kits right there. As for the money difference in the long run it's not really that much and still way cheaper than tobacco cigarettes are. Most people refill their cartomizer just as the 3pc crowd does. Good luck in your decision. If you want to see how the GreenCig kicks out vapor and how easy it is to refill I have some vids posted here on ECF. Here is one with 2 vids, how to refill and the vapor production after 10 minutes since filling. Usually I wait for a few hours but I did this so that people could see. 2 Vids, Refilling the GreenCig cart and after filling results. I also have this one up that shows the vaping technique that I use with the GreenCig when another member wanted to see how I did it, check this out here GreenCig Vaping Technique and Vapor. and finally I did a review of the GreenCig minus the video it can be found here An Honest GreenCig Review Before anyone asks, no I don't receive a nickel or any freebies or discounts for my review or opinion, all things I say are my opinion and I have not been reimbursed or paid in any manner whatsoever. |
