The really good news after continued use of the Evo is that imho they get better over time. The atomisers become less "aggressive" and noisy whilst still producing good vapour. I have also become accustomed to the length and weight of the Evo in comparison to the original Intellicig. Topping up the Evo cartridges is really simple when still in the mouthpiece if you tilt the mouthpiece with the air gap uppermost. The liquid settles into the cart fibre easily. Also leaving the cart stood on end for a few minutes ensures better absorption of the liquid. I haven't tried the new type of Evo cartridge yet so cannot comment on those. It's very portable, very reliable and has great battery life. I now use the Evo in preference to the Original when out and about, though I still use the Originals at home. To my mind it represents great value for money. Interestingly I find that I spend very little time thinking about the Evo now - I just get on and use it. I think this is because it has few quirks to trouble my elderly peabrain . In short it's a valuable addition to any vaper's armoury, and on reliability alone I have to rate it very highly indeed! |

Thats a very good tip about topping up the carts, I didn't realise there was only one hole to worry about, how many drips do you usually put in? I am having a bit of touble seeing if the wool is saturated or not! Are the batteries lasting as long as when they were new? I am finding it not as powerful as the pen or the 901 but a great ecig for taking out and about thanks to the long battery life!

Yes, the batteries are lasting fine thanks. I get about 8 hours out of one - then it flashes a bit and simply stops working! This is good because you don't get the same kind of "fade" that I've experienced with other batteries. One battery konked out and John changed it straight away. Drops of liquid - that varies depending on the size of the drop/dropper, but normally between 3 and six big drops. That's with very viscous liquid - I find that I can get more in when I use less glyc in my mix.

glad to hear your EVO is still working great after a month. ive not had mine as long as you but its still working great too! i did have a problem with the cut out feature becoming a bit erratic but after i fully drained the atomiser over night it now works properly again.........so that was user error on my part! doh! i wonder when Fedor will come along and hijack this thread too!

Now if only there was some way of attaching the 901 atomiser to the 401 battery, shame they aren't the same width! Ohh and no need to bring the fight in to this thread thanks.

And I have a new rule, as soon as hostilities break out, I'm off, got better things to do with my life! I wish I was on commission from Intellicig though, stop me giving them money. ![]()

Well I've just ordered mine, with the usb connection. I was just wondering, I am looking for a usb ac adaptor, and found one at 1000mA and another at 500mA. now my guess would be the 500mA, but does it matter ?

I've measured the charging current through the USB and I've not measured more the 180mA going in, so you should be fine with the 500mA version. Intellicig sell one but don't state the rating. Just make sure you stay away from the real cheepies, I've got one that will not charge up a PDA! Also if you are tempted by a car adaptor, again take care, some pass the full 12v through to the USB ![]() Don't be surprised by how quick the USB charger is!

yeah, the usb charger is so quick at charging that i must admit im very dubious as to whether the battery is fully charged or not. (takes less than 20 minutes!) even after the battery led remains lit to indicate a full charge i still leave it plugged in for another hour to be on the safe side! pete, do you still get a full battery life if you take it off charge as soon as the led stays on? i should just try it for myself and see, but i only have the one battery and need it to last me the full day!
