SMOKE 51 REVIEW I had purchased a SMOKE 51 kit 6 weeks ago. Since the initial purchase I have returned the batteries 3 times. First battery just died suddenly after 3 weeks and would not take a charge. The second replacement battery was impossible to draw through and was returned. The third battery rattles not sure if it will last very long. SMOKE 51 has some serious quality control issues! Smoke Anywhere has not been able to deliver cartridges which have been out of stock for more than 45 days. This makes it difficult to use the product even when a working battery might be available. When I first purchased this product I was thrilled but after some extensive use the product and company has failed due to the lack of cartridges and continuous battery failures. It is time to retire the SMOKE 51 |

The Smoke51 is a Loongtotem and has been heavily criticised since a long time ago. You can try to dig up the old threads and you will find consistent bashing on the product from batteries to customer service. Some even claimed that the reason for the cartridge long life is the fact that users are inhaling burnt paper/ cart material. I don't know how things have changed since then though. I particularly remember laughing out loud when a forum member said that he was "loongtotem 'ed".... |

| What flavor of cartridges did you order? I ask because I ordered five packs of low nic cartridges from them in mid January and so far have only received two of them (1 tobacco and 1 "menthol".) I bought my batteries from epuffer and have not experienced the battery problems you have (thankfully) but I am not impressed with either outfit's quickness or customer service.

Here is my little experience with smoke51 canada Bought my first e-cig on jan 24 (double kit) 136.00 charged up batts and they would not last more than 20 puffs !!! and the 2 carts that came with it even less, on the 25 jan ordered 2 boxs of reg 8mg carts (which is the max mg's) and still have not received them ....... emailed again yesterday and no reply.... opps forgot i did get 2 new batts that hold a days worth but not having my carts in , i might as well suck my fingers , all to say i have had to keep my analogs.... so i started looking at other e-cigs (no names since some are members here) anyway they have real good prices but seems even reponding is to hard unless your ordering ! IMO most will be the same , maybe i am wrong ? PS Thanks Leaford for directing me to this site

Hmmm.... sorry you guys are having such issues with the Smoke-51. I had 1 battery puke on me since the beginning of Dec, but other than that I enjoy mine a lot with no hassles. I do wish they'd come up with a higher nic level for their carts though, as 8mg isn't enough for me. And I sure wish they'd hurry up and release the proposed Cherry & Apple flavours sooner. Alain59, Give Marc a chance.. I beleive he was without a computer for a few day after it puked as well as getting in more stock last week, so I'm sure he's a bit behind. In general, this chinese new years has played hell with anyone stocking small levels and waiting for more. Hopefully when I'm due again things will have caught up. VapeOn, Greg |

i was chatting with a smoke51 rep yesterday using their little "live support" doo-hickey on the smoke51 website , "stephanie" told me the only carts they have in stock are tobacco and menthol flavored. Back on feb 2nd i ordered 3 boxes of vanilla carts and 2 chocolate. i finally decided to contact them yesterday. I changed my order to all menthol just so i didn't have to wait any longer. There are a bunch of other places online to get the Loongtotem atomizer/cart combo , i would avoid the smoke51 site like the plauge other than that the product works great for me , the carts last a long time with no foul burning flavor , and i have been re filling them with pureJuice from puresmoker.com it's like they are brand new again and last just as long |

I've also been refilling mine with puresmoker liquid, got a few that have lasted for 6 days of refilling so far. I have had about 10 carts get that foul burning flavor, it is really nasty and wrecked my throat.

I just heard about these stocking issues on my blog, too. CNY strikes again! And I have complained about the batteries too. I just got my third set yesterday. I think the third time was the charm, for me, and if this is a new supply I may change my opinion of their batteries. But you aren't asking about their batteries, you're upset with them, and want alternatives. I understand. I am testing the cartridges and batteries from Bloog Healthier Way to Smoke!, as an alternative, and will be ready to film in a day or two. I've only had a small sample, but so far all the carts have been good. And if you get 5 or more boxes at a time, and add my 20% code, (LEAFORD as usual), it comes to $1.80. 30 cents cheaper than S51. And she just opened, so you gotta figure she's got stock. ![]() I'm not as fond of the batteries, because of their short runtime and because they only allow a 2-second drag. But they make a great option for cartridges. I haven't tried Red Dragon, but they have the same e-cig.com stuff, so I expect about the same thing. Cartridge prices are nearly as high as Smoke 51's full price, and they only offer a 5% LEAFORD discount. So I wouldn't suggest them for cartridges. Batteries are cheaper than Smoke 51, but just like Bloog, it's cheaper in both price and quality. E-Puffer has the best batteries of this model, but I had an entire batch of defective cartridges, half my supply. And they've racked up as much complaining lately about their service as S51. Worse, one of my blog readers pointed out they've been charging the same prices in US dollars as Canadian, effectively overcharging US customers by 25%. I'm not recommending them until I get a good answer to THAT.The best option really is on the horizon. Bloog will this summer have the same quality batteries as ePuffer, but the next improved generation of them. Hence the wait.
