Don't tell Trog this , but i might be getting rid of my SD

don't get me wrong , it's a fantastic device with a great battery life , that is both dependable and produces good vapor.

it's just kind of not for me , i have only had mine 1 week so far , so i guess I'll keep using it for the time being.

maybe i just need to spend some more time with it , getting used to using it

I disagree with the people saying the 901 is the best atomizer and submit instead that the pen-style is the best atomizer and i wish that screwdrivers took them instead of 901 atomizers. I also wish the screwdriver had a sidemount switch. If it had these two features i'd buy one, for now i am using a usb passthrough.

I think my search is over . . . until the Janty Stick hits the market!

Does anyone have experience with taking a SD through airport security? I'm about to leave on my honeymoon through SE Asia and really want to take my SD. I'm a little apprehensive, however, about how airport security is going to react to the looks of the SD and whether I can sufficiently explain to them that it's not a detonator but a e-cig.
I know you! Have fun on your honeymoon, bring back something nice for me and Kev.

Ok...I read the review about the Big Four...now I want to know where I can purchase a USB pack & passthrough at a reasonable price in the USA. I am waiting on my 901 model to arrive, however, I think having these two items will increase my enjoyment!

When using the SD one must remember that the battery it uses (cr123) is not just a larger mah just for length of smoking. Although this is true, the Mah aslo is able to produce a more constant power when under load. The standard battery I assume drops off in voltage fast when under load while the cr123 can keep up the voltage thus creating a hotter and faster heating of the atomizer, this of course comes at a cost of maybe atomizers burning out faster, but I dont know for sure.
Think of it like this.
If you have an electric motor running on 12v with 1000mah with no load it will preform about the same as suppling 12v to the same motor with 5000mah, but put some load on the motor and the 1000mah power source will struggle and voltage will drop. The 5000mah will have enough mah and out put to keep the motor even under load spinning the same.

Trog does/will offer a penstyle atomizer adapter. As far as the switch being on the bottom , i thought the same thing , but now i could not imagine having a side mounted switch. There are more ways to comfortably hold it with a bottom switch

Default Ordering Next Month

I've been considering a SD for a couple of weeks. I'll be ordering next month. I need something consistent for when I'm away from home.

I have a 401 that I use all day, everyday. I have 12 atomizers and 16 batteries for it... I am a hoarder for sure.

But the SD is my real "Doomsday" device. Awesome vapor, and when/if they finally block the sale of the last 901 atomizer, you can turn out the lights... Vaping is over...

I never regret the money I spent on the SD. Quality product and bulletproof performance.
