Vicks, it sounds like things worked out pretty well. Congrats.

That coffee does sound good. I have been looking for a good regular coffee ever since I couldn't get the old ruyan direct coffee. Back before it was heaven gifts, I really liked their coffee. I like the idea of it being more clear like the ruyan was. Now it seems just about everyone's is that blackish color.

Talk Radio update...

Hi guys - the talk radio thing didn't go as expected - but then again, I didn't have it real clear what we were doing.

MlrGrl shot me a text on Thursday, telling me Vicki McKenna was gonna be in our area...so, naturally, I said yes, let's go talk to her

Turns out she was doing an appearance for Petco, promoting some pet food. There had been either cameras or microphones out earlier, but the van was all packed up - they were finishing up their spot.

So what we did (I think) was better than a news spot - Vicki McKenna is a talk show host with a lot of passion when she speaks...and she's a huge supporter of PV's. -BUT- she's never been exposed to the kind of gear we use (the good stuff

). So what we did is give her information on the next phase of vaping - getting off the standard, cig-shaped PV's, and into higher volt or just plain better batteries. We showed off (and let her try) the Fistpack, the 6v Chuck, the Stompbox, and the Ego...with the better juices we use, the better attys, etc....

I think she was amazed at how well these work as opposed to the sub-standard gear like the Blu (which she said she had) and the other stuff (and battery life was a MAJOR setback for her).

We also sent her a rather lengthy email when we got back giving her links to where she can get the good stuff. I'm certain an Ego is a purchase for her ASAP.

Now, remember how I said she's very vocal and passionate about things she cares for. I fully expect her to start talking about PV's on her show again, and this time to start promoting products that we use, products that WORK.

So, we put a bug in someone's ear, and good quality gear in someone's hands, who just happens to have a lot of voice and heart and who reaches a lot of people in WI.

Vicks...Well done!! I have always thought of you as a strong advocate for vaping!! Once again you have proven me right!
