Well, sadly my DID is trapped in the hell that is NY postal service and hopefully it doesn't stay very long.I would really like it to be delivered before the weekend and my new torch is waiting .

Wow! My DID arrived today. Amazing! After trying all kinds of inferior similar products it seemed so easy - everything worked beautifully the first time. Only question is how long can I wait before getting another.
A few Reo's, a bunch of home made VV and Altoids Mods, a ton of rebuildables. All powered by a butt-load of Jugz Juice.
It seems as though after I have learned from my mistakes, and actually read others' techinques in wick/coil prep, that the DID is even more awesome than I experienced in my first couple of days with it.
I couldn't understand the lack of huge vapor plumes last night. After reading others' ACTUAL measurements. Of wick dimensions I realized I had rolled waaaaay too much wick. My assumption was that more wick equates to more juice to the coil, right? WRONG!. Since receiving my DID, I have just used half of one of the sheets of mesh that were included. That's close to 30mm. This morning I unrolled one and cut off ~20mm and re-rolled it, re-coiled it and WOW! The vapor is so much more prominent now. I turned my watts down, as the juice I'm using gets really hot really fast (5%PGA). With the Watts down to around 8 and the new 20mm roll w/ 5 wrap coil. I've experience an even better flavor and vapor production.
I guess the moral of this post is: when it comes to SS mesh and resistance wire- more is not MORE.
