We can't make the whole MECHA and the caps of the Cage from brass(for health reasons), but we are preparing the bOd, MECHA rings and sleeves for The Cage in brass

Well that ought to work. I hope you can get us a picture really soon.

    (What's a sleeve?)

    Of course!
The sleeve is the metal tube that holds the caps and protects the glass tube of the Cage.

I didn't stray when I bought my KirF Prive Special tank... because I bought it before I bought anything from By Leo.

Also almost bought a Privadero too, glad I didn't. FWIW I don't really like the PS tank much, but that's because I don't use carto's and only use Sophia's in carto tanks. I absolutely hate the top fill thumb screw on the PS as it's way too close to the center of the tank and is always quite hard to get loose, reinstall with a standard Sophia in the tank. Might be OK with a short Sophia that you could remove the DT from to get it out of the way. But I only have one short upper body for all my Sophia's, and that Sophia always resides in the GP SnP ProBase 23mm tank. So the only By Leo tanks that I am still using (with two of my Sophia's) are the Slim and Slim Pro Tanks. I like them just fine for specific uses, have the SS tubes for them as well. Use the Slim in a MicroStick, trade off the Slim Pro on The Don along with one of my Dripper Pro's. I'm not using my other Sophia's now days because I don't have any other carto tanks that I will still use (they are all in the dead zone).

I used to love dripping but not any more. Just use it for flavor testing now. I'm going to try the short Sophia in my Halfing tank just for fun.

How come the short looks (IMO) longer than a halfling tank?

The short sophia tube makes the sophia 35mm, so with an str5 it would look ok. I have the parts and can take a pic in the morning...

Or you could put an str5 on a standard carto and put inin a halfling tank to get an idea of what it would look like...

As Bill has already told us, he is working on quite a few things, so it looks like I better start saving. Yhe wife slready thinks I am out of control I'm starting to think that I should not be allowed to have access to any form of money
Yes, a nice brass 14500 that would antique nicely. I really like my 14500 batteries, they last forever.

So, my first Sophia arrived a couple of days ago.
Plugged it in, and it was wonderful. Cartos be gone!
Good vapor, good taste. Great job Leo. It's truly a very intelligent and pleasing device. I'll be ordering more.
Went through a tank of juice and was refilling it over my sink.
The sink is a farmhouse soapstone sink, the tank was glass.
It slipped out of my hands. The obvious end result: a broken tank. Shattered, as I stared in disbelief. Sophia, intact, but sad.
The moral: obvious; get a new sink. I'm ordering a new tank (2 to be backed up) and look forward to using Sophia again.
Luckily, I've now got my Heron going, so I'm not alone.
But, again, thanks Leo for such a smart and delightful device.
