So I rinsed with warm water and blew through them to push water out, did this about 3 times each and then let them dry for a few hours. Primed with a couple drops and put fresh cart on. Seems to have done the trick.

yeah, I was thinking about the same.

What can happened if the atomizer is dirty, less smoke?

I don't get any smoke at all, could it be a dirty atomizer? I was cleaning it with vinegar, but it made no difference.

In regards to upside down, if you're talking about draining the atomizer of fluid then you want the threaded end facing up.

Arias - when you take a few drags, is the atomizer getting warm to the touch at all? If not, then you may have a dead atomizer. If it gets warm, then it's most likely clogged.

I hold the atomizer with some tongs and blast some steam through it with the steamer on my espresso machine.

Works like a charm.

1. Blow it out.
2. Get a manual pass through switch, one that supplies 4 volts or more.
3. Daily dry burn off the crud until you get no smoke.
4. Re-prime the atty and start vaping again

Do not do it to an atty that is already clogged up as it will burn out the coil.

So get the kit needed and do it daily to new attys as you use them.

I've seen so many different tips and techniques here that I'm confused. Boil with vinegar, boil with water? Drip dry? Blow dry? Don't dry it all the way, make sure it's thoroughly dry? And what does this mean: "Daily dry burn off the crud until you get no smoke"? How would I even do that? I have an atomizer that is apparently clogged, and my supplier gives me no info on maintaining them. HELP! :-)

Im afraid there are alot of different methods for cleaning atomizers... and none are completely 100 percent brought back to life ! "LIKE NEW" IMO
Sorry its so confusing but this thread was created in the early days of this forum so all these different techniques were experiments to an extent .. atomizers can be brought back to life but for how long varies..at the moment there made as disposable imo... i don't use any cleaning technique's any more... when the atomizer stops working i replace with a new one.
