Well I was thinking since the main killer of batteries is a little bit of liquid getting on the internal switch, what if we took a nonconductive cleaner such as this 141B Replacement and cleaned the hell out of the battery. Looking at this all you would need to do is blow it out with some canned air afterwards, the MSDS does say can cause liver and kidney damage but thats prolonged exposure to the fumes, its fast drying and leaves no residue. Its just a thought...

These are not the kind of chemicals that should be used--this is a hard core toxic cleaner and if you use this in the battery--you will then be sucking thouugh that same battery--SO THIS IS OUT!!! Please remember saftey here first!!! Add to the fact that that pressure switch is in a housing and getting a chemical out of there would be very hard to do--Again people who are experimenting--do so at your own risk--but do not do experiments that lack common sense when it comes to saftey--Sun

I flushed a 901 battery with alcohol. Didn't seem to make any difference. Worked like it did before I flushed it. It wasn't a sticking problem.

I soaked two batts that had stuck switches in isopropyl alcohol then let drain and dry out. Complete failure, both batts remained totally inoperative and ended up being canibalised for mod's!!
