Just tried the "coke method" on a stubborn atomizer...letting it dry overnight....we'll see what happens..will post results!

Well I just did the coke clean on my 901. Was fighting it all morning, trying to get a good draw. Finally gave up and plopped it in a cup of pepsi for about 10 min. Blew some pepsi through it, then washed it out with water. Blew out the extra water, shook it out, put in 5 or 6 drops of use. Had to puff on it for probable 10 or 15 rapid puffs, when it finally heated up and now its working great. I probable have put 50 ml of juices through this atomizer before this.

it's pepsi FTW!
you're probably going to get some coke loyalists here saying the coke "loosened it up" but they'll say anything to promote coke over pepsi.
nothing worse than an anti-pepsite. lol

Tried mine after an overnite rest.......hade to do about 10 or 15 also....seems ok,still taste the coke though...might have to give a boil or wash to get the flavor out....will have to try this on a completly cold atomizer to see what happens.

Chok--The dead ones may be another issue--any heat out of them at all--give it a coke bath and dry it bone with a power it up with a battery, then reprime--and give it a go----Sun

Im not having issues with them but I am looking at ways to keep them working lol. I get plenty of heat as I do the blowing them out nightly. I am looking for maybe an added maintenance schedule to start as well. I suppose I could do the boiling trick but that doesnt sound like it would break up any of the baked liquids that may be building on the atomiser.

Boiling may "clean"--But it will not clean off your coil

You are correct--Chok--While boiling may get rid of flavors and the like--It will not get the carbon build up off the coil of your atomizer. I have boiled atomizer coils for over an hour with Zero results upon inspection of the coil before and after---The cola bath may very well pan out to be a much more viable maintence route---Sun

Soaking in coke or pepsi seems to do a really good job of cleaning off some of the carbon type build up on the coils but 'nothing' at all seems to clean the shiny black lumpy stuff off of the coils.....It is my belief that if you have any of the shiny black lumpy stuff on the coil, it is some of the polyester cart material that has melted onto the atomizer and that is why even strong acids don't seem to have any affect on it.....acids are stored in containers made of the same kind of material.

Pete--I have been able to chisel the carbon lumps off the coil with a screwdriver after a cola bath--but that does not really help as you have to have the atomizer apart --still working on it--Sun
