I can't blow hard enough (due to 45 years of smoking) to clean out the atomizers with just air. Going to have to find a small air compressor, may be the answer for me. Washing is a pain and does not work very well for me.
You can use Cleaning duster from any air can many from Office Depot
    it works pretty good

Got to say the coca cola soak method works very well.

Had 6 atomizers onthe go, 3 of which were beginning to taste nasty,
tried the IPA (rubbing alcohol) soak & water rinse & dry method,
OK, but the after taste returned quite quickly.

So tried soaking in coca cola for 5 hours + water rinse & dry =
totally sweet & producing vapour like new.

    Excellent result.

then water rinse & blow out
then heat till cherry red with manual switch,
then drip and prime, and puff puff puff

    and yeah, ......
    totally good, no after taste,
& producing vapour as good as new,
    brought back 6 whimpy ones,

    Alrite, Tried NUMEROUS methods
Yesterday I picked a bottle of 190 proof Everclear (Grain alchahol)
Placed 2 Janty Atoms into a oversized syringe (Got it from the denist)
Filled it with the grain for 45 min. then agitated by shaking horizontally (Lightly) Let them sit cart side down for 8 hours. I blew into them to make sure they were completley dry. Then added 6-7 drops directly into, let sit for five minutes to soak. Added a couple to the cart. Hooked up and Voila! BRAND SPANKING NEW!!!!
Back to a very clean smooth draw, and strong vapour. And yes Nice size 5 bucks

Kate, you should defintley give it a shot

ps. Grain is tasteless and oderless when vaping, no need for water.
Evaporates very well, no need for air duster chemicals

pss. Multiqoute didnt work, Just wanna give a shout out to one our modding geniuses Jax and Gryf

Truth be told, though, if superheating and then flash cooling the atomizer IS the key, that will mean that most people won't be able to do it unless they rig up a box.

Also, I'm playing with some more electronics. I may have another battery with a "turbo" switch...my GOD that almost frightens me.

I think it was Sun who said I could "bake" my atomizer to dry it out. I am wondering if we set the oven to 500 degrees... maybe that would heat it enough to grab it with tongs and drop into icewater?

It seems that the flash heat/cool method would weaken the wore on the coil from getting hot cold repeatedly... but if the atomizer is already dead... then why not?

Think I'm gonna try the Coke method along with using my air compressor. Hope the compressor isn't too powerful- it's a BIG tank air compressor, the red kind you buy from Sears, like 4 feet tall. Cokes been used to clean lots of things, its very caustic/acidic and cheap and easy to get ahold of.

    Default Reviving a cold one?

I've seen alot of posts here for getting a stubborn atom to work better, but not so much on the completely dead ones..... my atom died on me last night - no matter how much I draw I get zero heat - when 5 minutes before it was working - sluggishly, but I though it was the battery getting low or the cart getting dry....

Barely a week old (poor baby, I barely knew her!)

The only routine maint I did on it was to blow it out by mouth at night, push the corner of a cotton hankerchief in the atom side to sponge any loose liquid out, and let it sit battery side down to drain overnight.

Off-topic on my part, but I think Maddog had luck with dead atomizers and his Magnum firing them right back to life.
