Default Enema Bulb Syringe

I use this Hi-Tech device to blow air through the atomizer.

Works very well!

right , well after thinking that steam cleaning might work and Ruby's steam cleaning trial with her steam bee i convinced the missus that we could really do with a steam cleaner for the home so i bought one of these Handheld Steam cleaners

Tried cleaning my 901b atomizer first, Now the atomizer wasn't dead or dying but vapour was diminishing and i wasnt getting much from it.
Gave it a good few blasts cart end and another good few blasts the battery end with the steam gun, blew out any excess water, only let it dry out for an hour or so ( stood it on my pc tower, nice and warm there ) dripped about 6 drops of liquid onto the atomizer, put in a new cart, attached a fresh battery , let her sit for 5 mins to let the juice soak into the atomizer a little and hey presto , The Little guy smokes good as new, great draw again , vapour a plenty...SUCCESS

So, that seemed to work a treat with the 901 atomizer but what about a classic pen style one ?
I have a pen atomizer that draws like a macdonalds milkshake so i used this as my test subject.
Again using the same technique as i did with the 901 and again ..SUCCESS ...

I must say that as Ruby stated , both atomizers were really thirsty for a while afterwards and both give lots more vapour, I now also seem to get more throat feel with them. I dont know if thats because the coil heats up more now that it's clean but whatever the reason i like it.

Only thing is now i'm constantly looking around for things to steam clean

Now....Where'd I put that 90 degree nozzle attachment !!!

Nice post ApO. Glad it worked for your atomisers - I think it is a great way to clean them. It's good to know it worked so well on your pen too, as I only had 901's to test drive it - got a pen today so will use it on that too.

I think it might fluff up the wick inside the coil and that is why we get thirst factor?...but just guessing here. If it helps the little boogers work for longer it'll pay for itself...and your house will shine too by the sound of things!

Now what I want is an e-cig that vapes like a steam cleaner...

Great Suggestion!! Maybe finally found something to clean all these dead atomizers. I just ordered one from Amazon, for $20.00, cheapest one they had, but had better reviews that the more expensive one. Here is link if anyone wants to look at it.
Amazon.com: portable steam cleaner. Will let everyone know how it works when I get it.

Let us know Katy. I'm interested to know if you can breathe new life into a dead atomiser with a steamer. That would be amazing!
Also don't forget to look on e-bay too - some good deals come up on the little hand held steamers sometimes...although at that price on Amazon it's worth just buying new imo!

So ApO - how's the cleaning going!

Here's a tip to keep you busy - you can use it to defrost the freezer with, works a charm!

LOL ApO! That little steamer is going to keep you out of trouble for weeks to come!

Kate aside from getting a nice shiney new coil in the atomisers I use mine for loads of other things too, so I reckon it will be money well spent.

You've sold me Ruby. I've put a bid on an 'as new' penguin-type one on ebay so maybe I'll have one of my very own soon. The auction doesn't end for a couple of days so I'm on tenterhooks 'till then. I hope I get it, it looks really cute.
