Pipe mouthpeice on 510

[Stranger]

The translucent amber plastic mouthpiece of a Missouri Meerschaum corn cob pipe it just the right size to fit into a 510 atty were the cart would go.

(I am using the straight mouthpiece BTW)

I just tried dripping menthol with it and got WAY more flavor and TH than with the cart but did not have to worry about burning my lips on the metal atty.

The next thing I want to try is stuffing poly fil or PTB into the mouthpiece and using it as a cart. It must be 2 to 3x the volume of the original cart.

So far I have not noticed the plastic mouthpiece getting hot, not to mention melting.
They make all sorts of mouthpieces in different sizes so there should be a lot of room for experimentation.

Another thing that works is the rubber ends for the Mini Pipes 801. You can pull the end off of the cart, and then they slide onto the back of the 510 cart.

I have a few black mouth pieces like that. Neve thought about using them on my 510. Thanks for the idea.

I'm using 5/16 O.D.X 3/16 I.D CLEAR FLEXIBLE VINYL TUBING
I got on Ebay. Working on a Mod. Take the tubing and a 401 cart. Cut the mouth end of the cart off and a 3" piece of the tube "wegges" inside the cart.
Carts have a "hard" feel in my mouth. This is much better.

Johnson creek sells the DSE901 carts and they work on my 510's just fine. I like the flat style mouthpiece a little better. I also like the pipe style idea, but it looks weird in my head.

I just ordered some of these. I have a 510, but will these also fit on my Mini Pipe? That's what I'm hoping.

Interesting that it increases the flavor - Makes me want to run out and buy a few. Do you know why it makes a difference in the flavor?

All I can figure is you get more vapor though the bigger hole.
It is cool you can watch the vapor come though the mouthpiece.
