    just wondering if anyone has tried this but

    how about an electric water pick used for cleaning teeth to clean atty coils? after a soak wouldnt this be a practical method to pressure wash the coils? anyone tried this?

    I would be concerned that the water pressure would break the coil or blast the wicking from the coil. There have been past discussions about the coil wire becoming more brittle as it ages and I tend to agree. I've already killed attys just by using too hard of a flow of tap water from the faucet.
