    Yes, I've seen stuff similar to what you describe, but all the blue portion has been way too fine. Might as well use Eheim or Blue aquarium filter for the whole thing at that point. My idea would need something that has 1/10th the material - just enough to press the white filter portion against the bridge, leaving the maximum volume possible to hold liquid.

    The spring Works like a champ, far easier, less hassle and did I mention it works??
    I think holding liquis back with a small piece of poly is the bast answer yet!!!!

    Just made one for 901 cart and works great no leaks and better hit and flavor. Using it on 3.7 chuck. Thanks for the tip will make one for my 510.

    wtf is a ptb???? do I need to buy something else? My wife is gonna kill me....

    I was talking with a friend and she said this has been done, been using a spring in her 801 for six months now and loves it. Not trying to pee on your cheerios Scottyballs,
    still think it's a brilliant "new" idea since I never saw or thought of it before. Kudos

    PTB = pyramid tea bag. dunno if its been done but im making an illustration for it. made last night...will post when im done. This could hold the max liquid possible.

    Cartridge Modification <--- link to the post. i get an error "page not found" for some reason. had to test it.
