Back to the Mod, does anyone have problems with the poly fil sticking to the atomizer bridge?

Fluval does it also, having to pick fibers off the atty also, suggestions?

No... I'm not seeing this problem. As a matter of fact, over time the plug takes on the perfect shape (D-shape in my case.. 901 tip) and becomes the perfect plug.

But, as I mentioned earlier in the thread, I take my Bic lighter and singe off any errant fibers when I first make my plug. That works quite well for me personally.

I think you almost have to put some kind of cut at the bottom of the straw or the juice won't flow and the straw itself may not fill properly.

You know, think back to when you were 7. Put your finger over a drinking straw, pull it out of you glass, put it to your mouth, and blow it at your sibling! Same principle. A "V" or a "/" will both work. But if you use a "/" it's half the work!

Scottbee, I've had the filler stick a few times to the atomizer. Just remember to tilt it first and pull it off the atty slowly. Your filler may be too big, too.

lol yep, they come free from Drew.

Anyway, wish I brought some poly with me to work today to give this a try. Sounds promising! I think I might try using straws instead of the metal spring...I'm not too keen on inhaling things that have been sitting in metal.

The blue foam does not stick to the atomizer. It has pulled away clean each and every time. Also makes the cart resemble a miniture bingo dobber
