Try putting it in lenthwise, it'll need to be shortened, but the diameter should be ok. | |

Just an FYI : Don't bother trying to use a little piece of fleece instead of polyfill (or whatever) as a plug with this mod. ![]() I thought it might work because it has no strings, never unravels, and would be easy to rinse out. Yeah - I was wrong. It works at first, but then stubbornly holds on to the liquid instead of wicking it to the atty. Might work for PG users, but I'm strictly VG. |

Yes... with the 401 I would try running the spring lengthwise.. like I am trying with my little Revolver (M702) carts. I scored a bunch of stainless springs.... so I'm now less concerned about having them in there with my fluid. |

Thread is tl;dr, so I don't know if its been mentioned. I did this mod and its great. And what's awesome is you can hold the cart up to a light and check your "oil level". Way cool. |

I took a drinking straw, snipped off a piece, then slit it up the side. It coils itself a little smaller so that it fits into a 901 cart with room left over. I would not be using copper. Even copper cooking pots have to be galvanized on the inside. I think those nylon springs sound good.

Ok so I'm using only 401 / EVO and then parts from China - passthrough more batteries atomizers, etc... I thought I had found the perfect solution with PTB as it worked perfectly the first times but once washed and reused it acted like polifill... Then I read about your post ! Amazing with a vertical spring and a little of FLuval on top for 401 ! THKS A LOT !!!!!
