I could just see someone modding one of these so the atomizer connected in the center of the lens and connected through the lightbulb socket. Could you imagine the reactions you'd get at work shoving a giant flashlight in your face to vape?

Maybe try some kind of belt or holster for that battery so you could go mobile. You could always tell someone that its a "medical" device you have to wear...haha. I really like the idea of using a standard type battery. Nice work.

Thanks, I think i'll steer clear of the belt holster lol, not quite as stealth as i would like Probably keep this at the desk, contemplating rather i want to buy a Silver Bullet or just build something myself.

Well, i have made a new mod, using some copper tubing and cr123 rechargeable's, but i was able to vape on the 6v lantern battery for 3 weeks and it was still showing 5.74v while not under load. (started out @ around 6.45v new) I wouldnt consider this "Heavy" vaping, but moderate. Would be a nice backup battery, but i personally got tired of carrying it around.

Defiantly something to keep in mind for an extended power outage.

Seems like I remember that being a hoax. All of the batteries I've opened are either soldered or have a press/crimp connection. No I've never opened on of those.
