    Default Atty dissasembly

I have a 510 atty that is dead as a doornail... after tearing one apart it really looks like all that could go wrong electrically is with the connections. I would like to see if anyone has figured out how the housing and the brass fitting are put together so that i mareverse it without tearing up the electrical connections. If you could help me figure out how to get the housing off I am hoping to get a dead atty working and experiment a bit. thx in advance!

You may be jumping the gun here. The 510 brass connectors are extremely difficult to remove without damaging either them or the atomizer.
Have you tried cleaning and/or dry burning the atty? Have you checked the resistance across the positive and negative terminals to confirm it is really dead?
There are threads all over the model-specific 510 forum on how to do these things; I would recommend them first.
