weve all spent tons of money on ecigs, but i still think ive gotten off way cheaper vaping than smoking. its also a hassle to have to go get cigs and find your freakin lighter all the time right? i can make my own juice, i can make my own batts and passthru's, that saves me alot.theres people here in the usa working on homemade attys. its still a new technology, and we are the pioneers. the future is vapor.

If they dont fire up the next day - try again a day later. Ive had them take as many as 4 days to dry - especially ones with thicker wicks. Some ppl have said they put them in the oven to dry but I have never tried that.

This has worked for me on more than one occasion. Apparently some e-juices get gunked up and harden in the intricate workings of the atomizer.

Drop the dead ( by this I mean completely dead...cold dead) atomizers in some water. Bring it to a slow boil, stirring the atomizers around. Let them sit in a slow rolling boil for a minute or two. Fish them out, careful not to burn yourself...the metal will be hot. Let them cool off enough for you to blow the excess water out, blowing from the battery end.

Set them on a napkin on a plate, battery side up, overnight to dry.

The next day drip a drop or two of juice on the atty and see if they fire up. Many will.

6 volts? This is new to me. What is the voltage on a standard 901 battery? All I see listed for mine is 180mAh....

Your fine, regular Ecigs are regular voltage. I just ordered from RMV too, gotta love their quick shipping. I bought my mother a 510 kit and juice and a portable recharging case for her for christmas from them too. I've prolly spent about 150 bucks through RMV in the last couple days. So I think I'm a pretty valuable customer now. lol

Right there with you...just bought 510 kits for me and the wife, a PCC, and juice from RMV. Loving them so far!

3.7 volts, mAh stands for milliamps per hour,a measure of how long the batt should last. volts are a measure of how much power they put out at once.

Actually it is milli-amp-hours, not milli-amps/hour.

Also, while the 510 reg batts are 3.7V, the atty is running at only 3.1V, based on Scottbee's electronic explorations. The 14500 batt is also 3.7V, but the atty is actually running close to that voltage.

The 510 PT if it is a straight-wire, no batt box, is running the atty at 5V. But most of them are with batt box and so are running at 3.7V or less, off of a 10400 battery.

I personally am going for 3.7V with higher wattage with a Bartleby. Should be getting here any day now. I want to try this before going to higher voltage so Death-of-attys doesn't come knocking at the door as often, as I think I would mercilessly abuse my attys at 5 or 6V. Also not convinced yet that significant chemistry doesn't happen with higher voltage, as I've not seen any vapor tests at higher voltage...maybe someone can point me to any reports here. TIA!

One tip I read on this forum that keeps my attys lasting longer is to hold it up to my ear after a vape. If it is still sizzling by the time it gets to my ear then it is time to drip.

Also, if you are not getting a sizzle when pressing the button while holding it to your ear, your atty is totaly dry or your battery just ran out!

Just my take on dripping using a BE112 on a nicostick at 5V.

Or the atty is clogged or dead. Or the contacts with the batt are dirty, which can happen. Juice can get fried on the threadings, I've found. This can keep regular or mega 510 batts from charging properly too.
