Just wondering if you guys think the sugars could gum it up at all over time. I might try it with some Coke Zero......
Calaban--I would not concern yourself with that as you are washing any sugar off before you heat it, so any sugar will not be in place to caramelize in the atomizer--Sun

Well, here's EXACTLY what I did...

    I soaked it in RC

    Took it out

    Blew out the cola

Hit it with the sprayer in the kitchen sink (standard practice for me)

    Blew it out again

Hooked it up to my 14500 battery and cooked off all of the residual liquid (dried it out)

Dripped a couple of drops and waited for them to wick to the coil

    Hit it

    Vanished in a cloud

Also, I put a brand new V-High, Regular cart on for my roomy to try it...

He coughed so hard he almost puked.

His immediate response "I'm sold, dude...You'll have to show me where to get one".

Make sure you follow the same process I did and you'll be fine. I don't think heating it up and dropping it in cold water (per my original process) is necessary. Just rinse it out really good and make sure it's nice and dry.

This way there will be no cola left behind.

lol, that's awesome. my atomizers have been working great so far but i'll definitely keep the cola method in mind if they start to fade. i'm looking forward to everyone's feedback on cola vs denture cleaners though.

    Hmmm...

That's another thing that scares me. "Non toxic" in what form?

If it's not toxic after the soak / rinse and potentially getting heated to vapor, that could be interesting.

    Kinda scary, though.

If you're willing to give it a shot, let us know how it turns out.

For anybody worried about using cola, rc cola got my atomizer cleaner than steam cleaning, boiling, draining, isopropyl alcohol, or any other method. So long as you rinse the cola out afterwards it's totally harmless to your atomizer and i can't imagine it's any more harmful for your body than vaping cola flavored juice.

Anyways, it works really good. If you combined this with the jaxx method you would effectively have a brand new atomizer, although i would try just terraphons cola method first and see if that works. It worked like a charm for me.

    Great vid.
Your technique worked. I am vaping off an old atomizer this morning.

    Thanks Terraphon!

EDIT : Also, yes...a manual switch would be wonderful at heating up your atomizer for a nice water dip...you'll just have to unscrew it REALLY fast [/QUOTE]

Help ! I am not sure about this step. How do you do the water dip after the cleaning.
I am on dial-up so I can not watch the clip.

Kool..read Terraphon's post #102..he says no need to do the water anymore..just the soaking in RC cola..which makes it much easier

Terraphon, I don't know if I can get RC cola either..does Coke or Soda still work? anything that bubbles?
