Cold Pen-Style Atomizers. Broken wiring? NOPE!

It's funny, but before even seeing this topic, I was wondering about Coke (not Pepsi) for cleaning atomisers too, based on that article from a book on how to clean things with Coke Joey Green's Wacky Uses which then did the rounds of the internet for years. My mother, in disbelief, tried it at the time on a really filthy toilet (as suggested in the article) and was so amazed to see the Coke really did do the job!

If anybody's worried about the "acid" in Coke being harmful to drink, it's not according to Snopes (the site for checking hoaxes) snopes.com: Coca-Cola Acids.

I believe that standard soda water will work as well because the carbonic acid is, as far as I know, a product of the carbonation process.

By all means, though, try Coke...try RC...try Dr. Pepper...Hell try Sam's Club Orange Soda...If it works, it's bonus time.

Cuando--you may be right--We are going to give a whole new meaning to taking "The Pepsi Challage" lol--I have 5 sitting in each kind and going to let them soak for a week and see what the results are--Sun

I'm not sure how well a week will work out. I'd be concerned about the acids eating through the insulation on the wires and corroding them to the point of uselessness.

I'd say try *ONE* for a week and some others for times varying between a couple of hours and a couple of days. Eventually we'll stumble on the right formula.

The problem with music is that youtube and google both block any video that uses a copyrighted song so I have to upload to dailymotion or some other service...

I wouldn't mind using "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" either
