A few weeks ago I was smoking at an event and a guy comes up and started vaping, we started talking about it and I really liked what he had to say about his experience. I went home and have been researching and reading as much as I can.
I went to one of the 3 local Vapor Stores here in town on May 10th and got my starter kit (Ego twist = 2 batteries, 2 ce4's, charger, case and 10 ml of juice which they let me split into 2 5ml's so I'd have 2 flavors). I had asked about the Kanger ProTank as that's what "Critter" said to get so I didn't have to worry about cracking tanks with certain juices and was told that for someone just starting out it's not worth it to buy the protank, time was running short so I just paid and left it with that.

Last week I stopped in at the 2nd store looking to get a ProTank as I really LOVE banana's and was told the CE4's shouldn't have banana used in them. Once again I was told that the ProTank was more than I needed and that all their juice including Banana Nut Bread would work just fine in the Smok Mini 2.5ml Vivi Nova so I went ahead and bought it and 5ml of the juice. They filled it for me an put it on the battery making sure to show me not to over tighten it and such. It worked great for the first 2 days then it started leaking from the somewhere around the bottom threads and making a whistling noise when I try to vape and you can see the vapor coming from the bottom thread area at times. I went back to the store and was told that I had to have dropped it! Not even a chance of that, I don't even lay them on their sides as I put a coffee cup on the counter in the kitchen to stand it in, and use other small containers to hold them almost completely upright. Anyway they told me there was nothing they'd do for me but sell me another one..ummm no thanks not after that.
Yesterday I made it to the last store in town and once again was told that the I didn't need the ProTank as the "disposable" tanks can handle all the different juices with no problem. The only thing I bought from them was a 5ml bottle of 24mg juice since both other stores told me to get the 18 and I still really really craved that cig even after chain-vaping! The 24 has helped a lot and I only use it when the craving really gets strong.
I've now spent close to $100 not counting the juice I bought and am starting to feel really confused. Everything I read online says NOT to use certain juices in plastic tanks and I've seen some pics of what can happen to the tanks if you do, yet the stores here are telling me that it will be just fine to do so. I can't afford to go buy another tank right now not if I want to be able to have juice next month and having the juice is more important than a new tank.
I do plan on getting into the DIY juices as soon as I can, I'm still researching and reading all the posts and making notes but I find it very interesting! Maybe it's because I also use Essential Oils in aromatherapy for everything from just a "pick me up mist" to burns and bruises to breathing treatments :)
I'd appreciate everyone's opinions about the tank issue and YIKES sorry about writing a mini novel and the paragraphs running together for whatever reason my "enter" key isn't working while making the post.

They don't want to tell me in store, so I'm buggin' em on facebook about it. It was only 6 bucks for 10ml, so I'm guessing it's something pretty cheap if they can afford that!
It seems like they probably print the labels in store and slap them on generic bottles.
Either way, they're gonna get my business. If I run outta juice, the price isn't bad at all. But I still want to know what this is.... so I can order 50ml of it.

It tastes exactly like banana cream pie with nilla wafer crust. to the point that it's nuts and I'm pretty sure it's going to be my all day vape.
I've only had 4 flavors so far.... I started with nicquid strawberry fuzz, which had a hint of strawberry, mostly muted with the strong and quite powerful flavor of chest hair. (this flavor persisted over 3 cartomizers and my clearomizer, the same fill technique produced no issue with other liquid, so.... no more of that for me)
I also tried some watermelon "in store" that tasted kind of hairy.

I ordered 30ml of dripeez banana's foster and 30ml of honeydew. both are kind of muted, but I think they need to steep. and be shaken.


This banana cream though, this is the smoke for me so far, and I'd love to have a large supply of it in the reserves for me, so I hope someone can point me in the right direction, based on.... I guess color and flavor description. I was curious what kind of nicotine is used in the fluid for e-cigarettes. To be blunt, I never even put a thought to them in the past few years since they came out. Heard about them... But also, live in Canada so you see the obvious roadblocks.

So I was curious about the nicotine in eliquid that's widely available in the states. What grade is it, where's it come from? Etc. Could someone not simply extract nicotine from cigarettes, put them in a vaporizer base, and get the same thing?

I realize there's going to be a thousand contaminants, etc. just curiosity here.

Also was wondering what the density of nicotine per ml is, in it's pure form. These are kinds of things that pop up when I start hearing about new products, probably most of it is pointless, I just am curious about things like that. And the info that pops up is rarely in the info available (or what I've found anyway)...

Okay.....I have been approved to the gay group! ready for the crazy night???? Where do I start? Went to the P (Parliament House for those not familiar with Orlando) to see Addison Taylor whom I am slowly converting. Then to rev to see pants who is almost fully converted. Then back home to my crazy adobe where a bat flew in front of me and gave me whiplash.

So....I go upstairs to my bedroom and decided I needed some water. Walked outside to the balcony to grab a bottle from the fridge (yes I have a fridge on the terrace) and i find Jon (he is still on analogs but vapes a???) Don't really remember what it is (eRoll maybe) but I busted him smoking an analog on the floor below. You can see it between his fingers if you look closely.

So...I fussed at him for a minute or three. Then my tranny room mate comes home and we start chatting........kinda boring yet kinda exciting!!! (Okay she isn't exactly a room mate but she is a really good friend that rents the studio apt above my garage).

As we are talking I remembered I had left over sushi downstairs in the kitchen. So, I told her goodnight and proceeded to go downstairs to retrieve my leftovers. As I open my bedroom door I about crapped my pants!!! Apparently Jon (who is visiting for a few days from Tampa) thought it would be cute to leave a REALLY creepy doll in front of my bedroom door.

I freaked out! Closed the door and now in bed typing this. Just a synopsis of my crazy night, anyone that lives in OTown has had a few nights like this I'm sure. Good night fellow vapors! I'm sure I will not remember posting this tomorrow, LOL, it's all in fun BUT as crazy as the night was I did not touch an analog! (70 days and counting!!)

I would like to hear from anyone else in the Orlando area (drunken or un-drunken stories) or even Florida for that matter.

And then all the {MODERATED} options you have with everything.. thousands of venders and flavors, all the different equipment,clearos, cartos, tanks, volts, nic content, pg, vg.. theres so much extra .... involved it makes me want to just go back to analogs where everything is MUCH simpler.

Everyone says e cigs are cheaper but I cant tell. Ive already spent 150+ and Its only been a few says. With all the options to choose from I fell like im gonna spend much more on trial and error before i find some stuff that I like.
