A 510 clip for dudes!!

Hey Guys,

I think that the tire clip is a great way to carry a 510 but as a guy I just dont want it hanging from my neck, but I love the functionality. I think I may have a solution. I took a standard black pen cap ( ya know the ones with the metal shirt pocket clip). and with a little effort it slid over the led end of my 510!! I suspect that with a little heat (aka lighter) you could soften the plastic so it would mold that way and be a sung fit for you 510 to rest in. I hope this helps!

I get kind of tired of having to top off carts even when using the PTB mod. I found that if you gently blow into the cart while it is connected to the atty that it will cause a little more liquid to wick down. I found it helpful for those times when I can't top off immediately. Don't blow really hard or you may slightly flood the atty as I found out the other day.

I'm new and still learning about the intracacies of these devices so I thought I would pass this on. Thanks.

I have a volcano battery and i bought 5 510 atty's. I am using Totally Wicked liquid and I am having this problem.

3 attys have gone out after 2 days of use. Or at least i think they are.

I got a new one on now and it is starting not to taste right. Not really sure if this is what happened to the others as i seem to puff on mine all the time without paying much attention.

The wicks on the other attys have seem to disappeared. I have noticed a slight head ache for the past 2 days. Now i got a fresh reused 510 cartridge fairly well filled and the taste seems kinda watery. That is not the vaper goodness. I have not modded these at all so I still have the poly fill that came with them. I will top off the cartridge and this seems to get the vaper goodness i am looking for but then It goes to this watery taste. I think i am now REALLY smoking the atty wick and it doesnt seem to be doing what it is supposed to. When filling the poly fill is almost to the top of the cartridge and when i pull it out it is about 1/4 of an inch down. I havent noticed a burnt smell but the taste is definately not cherry. What do you all think is going wrong or what am i doing wrong to fix this. The original volcano attys are still working fine so i am not sure what i need to do. Thank you all in advance.

Has anyone tried anything like these keychain pill cases to hold a small dropper bottle of e-liquid? I've seen similar keychains at Walgreens, but I don't have any 3 or 5 ml bottles yet to test with.

Let it soak in Coca Cola for 3-4 Hours then rinse under tap water for a few minutes blow out the side where it connects to the battery and let dry in a warm place over night, works great;)

All you need are a few Tire gauge clips to clip to your attys (Walmart has them in the automotive/air compressor isle for 94 cents), and a 24-30" dog tag chain.
Clip to the chain and wear it around your neck. The chain will be long enough to vape without unclipping it.
If your like me and set down your PV and then can never remember where you put it, then this is a perfect fix.

Can I use the wall (mains)->USB adapter I got with my phone to charge vaping accessories?

A few days ago I received a PCC from TW which is powered by a USB connection. After awhile I realized I have a couple wall to USB adapters I recieved with a few devices (phones, Ipods, ect...) and have been wondering if I can use it with my PCC, a passthrough, and whatever other accessories I might buy.

The adapter I'm thinking of using has a labeled output of "5.1v=0.7A" and came with an LG Versa cell phone.

I searched for awhile and couldn't really find anything specific so I figured I'd just post and hope an electrician is out there, rather than experiment, and possibly blow up my PCC.

Also, I've read it is better to charge any lithium-ion battery with "lower (slower) power chargers over the higher (rapid) chargers." Can anyone expand on this? Oh and in layman's terms please? ;);)

How come atomizer feels hot when I vape?

HOw come I will sometimes exhale a lotof vapor and sometimes little vapor eventhough I changed th eliquid?

When do I know exactly when to add eliquid?

Simple Homemade Pocket Clip...

For me, carrying my first e-cig (KR808D-1) with an automatic battery in my shirt pocket wasn't a concern other than it almost always ended up flat (horizontal) at the bottom of my pocket so I had to dig for it to use it. Then yesterday I got my Joye 510 with a manual battery and now I also have to worry about it getting in a position in my pocket where it might get its button pushed and overheat my atty, even burning in my pocket.

So I thought about it and came up with what I think is a simple fix that although it may not be perfect, it sure does the job of holding my 510 just like a pen in my pocket, and more importantly I feel safer holding it this way. You can probably stick it in any pocket or clip it on your shirt color (if you don't have a pocket) or through a button hole, or clip it on your purse, or wherever it may work for you.

No guarantees, but it really works for me and I made this in less than 5 minutes. Here's how I did it (follow my pics below):

1. I simply took the end cap off of an el-cheapo pen.
2. I cut the long end off leaving just the clip part with a hacksaw blade.

...and it's back to normal with my 3.7v 18650. For the last couple of days this atty's been slowly crapping out, so I put in some CR123as and hit it for a while, 2-3 seconds max. Even with 5-6 drops of liquid, I was getting a horrible burnt taste each time; I'm assuming the coil's really crudded up and it's getting roasted off. Now it's tentatively hitting with 3.7v as well as when brand new. I guess this would be a good thing to try if you're too lazy to clean like me (I bought a bottle of Everclear and now it's stashed for drinking).

I'll add that I'm feeling particularly lazy today so I didn't bother ohming it yet. lol

A unique filler... human hair

To my complete surprise and utter amazement I found my hair to be exactly what I needed to fill my carts. I have long straight hair and each day I brush it out ending up with quite a wad in my brush every few days.

I vaped with my cart of hair for 2 hours non stop. Now after at least 40 drags I am recovering from a wicked head buzz I can say the flavor remained completely consistent and vapor production was immaculate. I got no burnt taste what so ever and got as much if not more of my e juice out of it as I would have polyfil.

I am using a 510, not sure how this works with other carts as I only have a 510. I am now vaping on my third cart filled with my own clean sterilized (everclear) hair and have yet to get a burnt flavor out of it.

I did on my 510 and loved it but the 510 was not cutting the flavor mustard for me.

I have removed the bridge and wick from my 510 atomizer and created a cart which puts polyfill straight to the coil. The polyfill is only about the quantity of half a stock cart. Behind the poly is almost 2ml of juice.

The density of the poly is enough to keep in total saturation without leaking (the cart only being open on one end helps, think of a straw when you put your finger on one end when it is full).

The poly always remains under complete saturation, it does not burn because of this (you can boil water in a paper cup you know ;-)). The poly dries in direct proportion to what the coil can vaporize. The dried part of the poly then re-saturates.

By doing this, the coil os now 100% cleanable and only fails when it is DEAD.

Liquid usage goes up (and jeeze, your head spinning will confirm it!). I am vaping it on a stock 510 manual battery and a 6 second hit is insane (and not recommended). Dropping the battery voltage may be a much wiser choice here, for increasing it would vaporize even larger amounts of juice and increase hit intensity even more (an unwanted effect at this point).

I taste no burnt poly, no strange tastes, just strong flavored juice. After 3 hits on this beast, I feel as if I just put down an entire analog.

The juice does not leak, does not flood the coil, and you get none in your mouth, it just vaporizes very efficiently. My average daily consumption of juice is about 6.67ml. This burnt through 1.5ml in about 65-70 minutes of constant vaping. My head was spinning and I was more than satisfied, but in the sake of testing.... I HAD to do it!

So cool! Never will know why I didn't think of this until now...
I have been vaping JagerBomb recently... but I want to get into a few of my other new flavors w/o opening yet, another new atty... So...
The Tip>>>
I dropped a couple drops of VG that I got from Dawn on my atty and used a blank cart mouthpiece w/ no filler to vape out the excess flavor of the Jagerbomb... (JagerBomb is great like this too as it gets weaker and weaker in flavor and the sweetness of the Redbull starts to come through quite a bit)...
After dropping VG on my atty twice... all the flavor is out... This also made mad vapor!! Very satisfying to the point I am now waiting to vape later... Maybe in 30 min... LOL (btw, until now I only have been using the VG to prime out new atty's or an after cleaning prime...
I have never seen this tip so if others already do this- excuse my ignorance! This is so cool! I can now vape a new flavor w/o completely cleaning my atty and no mixing flavors I don't want to mix!! Woohooo!!

janty stick and the 901's

i have a janty stick and have been having some issues with the juice not flowing properly and the throat hits stopping after a few vapes so after looking around the forums i see a lot of mods for the 901 but not the 801 which i am using.
if i buy the 901 adapter and some 901 atomisers will i likely get a better hit and all round better experience or should i stick it out with the 801's?
