So I made an order from MadVapes for some things including a sample bottle of Maple Cream eliquid on January 2011 and promptly lost the bottle until a few months ago... I know, 2+ year old juice... The thing is, when I found it and vaped some if it (then all of it), it tasted GREAT.

I ordered some of the same (?) Maple Cream at the beginning of this month because it was so good. The question however, is did the recipe change any in the intervening years?

The old maple I had was very dark and a strong maple smell. The new juice I have is not nearly as dark and does not taste or smell anything like my old bottle. I've been steeping it for 2 weeks now and it hasn't changed much. I'm not complaining at all and even though I dont like the new juice that much I would still order from you guys again. I just want to know if it really isnt the same eJuice or if I just need to let this one steep for a few more years :P

Same awesome shipping speed and delivery as I remembered. I then made a second order for more juice and some batteries. Fast shipping again- they always have impressed me there. But.... the batteries that I ordered were supposed to be 800 mah non-protected batteries (for a vv device- and the site states these work in the device that I own)- the batts that I recieved are protected batteries, and just dont power vv devices such as the zmax or vamo.
I went through the ticket system and was told that I would have to pay shipping back to madvapes to gain any resolution. I have already paid shipping once for an item that I needed, only to be told that I would have to pay shipping once again to get the proper batteries. Wow.. I have to cover the price of a mistake made by madvapes? wow again.
I know I am ranting but that just doesnt seem proper. 1. I'm using this with a Provari and the first thing I noticed is that head that came installed in the tank says 2.4ohms, but the Provari reads 2.8ohms.

2. The wicks pictured on the website Vision 3.5ml ViVi Nova Tank Clearomizer, Clear are not the ones that I have received. Two of them have the three long skinny wicks hanging off to side (the 1.8ohm and the *mislabeled* 2.4ohm that came installed).

3. The third extra 2.8ohm head has the two long *rope* wicks to each side.

4. The airhole is located on the thread portion, not the base ring.

I've noticed that it leaks from the bottom threads (not the connector area), but the area that screws into the tank.

Can someone shed some light on this? Onto business though. After vaping 36mg Mad 4 I stepped down to 24mg a while back and my last order was for 50ml 18mg. I didn't notice any difference in color or taste between 36mg and 24mg. The first thing I noticed with the 18mg was that it was a tan (or yellowish) color, whereas previously the same liquid (at 36mg and 24mg) was much more of a pinkish color. The flavor was off as well. In fact, the flavor wasn't even in the same ballpark, in no way did this liquid resemble Mad 4.

I submitted a ticket and Madvapes was kind enough to credit my account with enough points to reorder. I was told that the discrepancies in color and flavor were caused by the lower nicotine level. The 18mg Mad 4 I had received was extremely bitter and tasted almost like detergent. It was nothing like the other bottles (of higher nicotine content) I had previously received. How much does the amount of nicotine alter the flavor of liquids? Do liquids at various nicotine levels actually taste drastically different or, did I most likely just get part of a bad batch?
