But lately I'm having trouble with the silver NR wire burning into immediately when I push the button on GGTS. This coil is in an Ody with a 3.7V AW IMR 18650 battery. I've used this same coil many many times without problems but recently it seems I end up rolling 4-5 coils before I can get one to work for any length of time. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong or what my problem could be? Thanks!!!

Hi Folks, after receiving a ton of mail asking me how I keep my brass looking shiny and with no stains. I had to make a simple and easy way for a novice to clean, polish, and seal there brass without getting to technique. There is of course other ways of buffing and removing scratches and techniques used. I'm not going to cover any of those. This is for the novice that wants a simple method of simply CLEANING, Polishing getting all the stains out black stuff off as well as shining it to mirror finish.

I just rebuilt Ithaka using the Kanthal Ribbon and I got a B E Autiful dual coil set up at .5 ohm.

I feel so very sucessful! A totally different feeling building this coil from scratch compared to the ready wires we all love!

= Acomplishment :D (first sucessful ribbon wire coils)
