I like the black, but since this happened I ended up ordering an X2 in just the silver. I don't mind the silver at all, and if some kind of solvent might remove it easily then I'll go ahead and do that. I don't see the point in shipping it back, and it works perfectly fine so I don't really want a replacement.

I have noticed that the vapor becomes pretty low just before it dies. And then when I switch out batteries, the first several (maybe around 10 -12) hits are VERY hot and the vape tastes burnt.

Since I do not get this with my auto slims I can only assume that they have a pretty constant voltage.
