Well, I think my batteries are going south. They seem to work, but their behavior has reverted to the 'shutdown' mode after a few puffs. then they will be ok for quite a few before going through the cycle again. What a bummer.
Even the 16 puffs in a minute trick to change that behavior doesn't do it.

Very sad since the batts worked great for more than a month!

Is this a symptom of them failing? I don't know. I would have expected longer life. Even now I'll get one working 'right' for an hour before it reverts back to the bad old days of cutting one off. Then I'll recharge it and get two puffs and it's done. Very frustrating. Might have to go with a PT for when I'm at home and save the batts for going out.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I just got the M201 I ordered from beyondecigs.com.
It came with soft rubber carts and I realy am not thrilled with the feel or taste of them. Does anyone know where to get plastic (hard) extra carts for it?
And is it normal for them to be the rubber ones? The batteries and attys were loose and wraped in bubble wrap and the charger cord and carts came in yellowish beige boxes. They did state eveything would be loose and no gift box so there was no surprise about this.

Just ordered my 1st 201 from beyondecigs.com he has a deal for ecf members in the suppliers forum for 2 complete cigs 2 batteries 2 attys charger and 5 18mg carts for 31.95.
Will let everyone know how it works out when I get my order.
I guess all they hve are the white ones but if alright I found a video on the forum about removing the paint from a 401 I think it was, so I can make them into a Stainless set.
From what I have read about them this model seems like a hidden gem that has been largely ignored. If what I've heard is accurate this may be the model I've been looking for.
I'm using the 118 I started out with more than my 510 and am more satisfied with it. The 201 seems to be like The 118 but with better battery life and double the cartrige size. If so it will be my main vape from now on.

I've been vaping for about 2 months now, and I currently use several e-cig models depending on mood (VK / KR808 for convenience and going out, 510,901 for at home vaping on my silver bullet at 6v, just for example). I've messed with 801's, but they don't have enough flavor or kick for me, even at high voltage, so because of several reviews I've read here, and video reviews as well, I decided to get a couple of M201 attys and see for myself how they perform.

I was mostly interested in the 201 since every posting i've seen about them, everyone claims they have superior wicking performance, throat hit, and vapor production. What I have discovered (both attys), is the draw is insanely tight compared to every other model I've tried, and while the throat hit seems ok, the flavor and vapor production is abysmal.

To be fair, I did not buy 201 batteries, I just picked up 2 attys from litecig at the same time I purchased a Vapre-51 kit. The mod works fine, and from what I can tell it is not restricting airflow to the 201 attys, so I don't believe that to be the problem.

So, is this normal? Did I get 2 bad attys? Am I expecting too much (considering that my minimum baseline is cartomizers for low volts and 510/901 for high volts)?

I have a suspicion that the problems I have are airflow related, but I've also seen a couple of posts where people mention the tighter draw on 201's, but it seems excessive to me...

So now I have two PVs...a 510 and the M201 (from litecig)...got the M201 today.

I didn't know that if you pull until the LED flashes and it cuts off that you have to wait two minutes before you can pull again, so I thought I had a bad batt or something, but once I figured that out, I was vaping away.

I've read that the attys need to break in for best vapor production, but it doesn't seem to be taking too long...the more I vape, the better it gets.

I can't imagine it will ever produce the vapor my 510 with the spring/poly plug cart mod does, but it DOES have it's own appeal and, hopefully, longer batt life and less filling/topping of the carts.

Oh...with the exception of 4 days in the hospital back in '03, today is the first day on more than 35 years that I have NOT smoked a single analog. So, that's from 2+ packs per day to NONE (so far, anyway) in 7 days (I "am" vaping from 16 - 36 mg juice, though, but HEY!).

Just sharing...

Sherry
